On 1 Mar 14 Courtney A. Templeton, age 25, 1743 Benedict Road, Fleming, reported she was involved in a dispute with her husband, Jarrod, age 28. During an argument, Mr. Templeton screamed in his wife’s face, threw a box of noodles against a kitchen wall and ripped the curtains from a kitchen door. Mrs. Templeton suffered a small cut on her finger when her husband attempted to grab her phone from her hand. Mrs. Templeton stated her husband’s actions during the argument caused her to fear for her safety. Consequently, Deputy McPeek arrested Mr. Templeton for domestic violence and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

On 1 Mar 14 Charles W. Kidd, age 57, 6649 Anderson Road, Waterford, reported at some point during the past week and a half a Troybilt riding lawnmower was stolen from under a tarp behind his residence. This case remains under investigation (610).

On 1 Mar 14 Arville E. Rutter, age 64, 101 Evans Street Apt. B13, New Matamoras, reported sometime during the day he believes an acquaintance that visited his home stole his recently filled prescription of Xanax. This case remains under investigation (126).

On 1 Mar 14 Johnna Wells, age 28, 100 Tadpole Lane, Marietta, reported she was assaulted by her live-in boyfriend, Jeffery T. Seevers Jr., age 32. Ms. Wells said her boyfriend had been consuming alcohol since the previous evening and an argument erupted over his drinking and his desire to leave in his vehicle. The two shoved each other around the house and at one point Ms. Wells tackled Mr. Seevers and struck him in the eye. When Mr. Seevers viewed his injury in a mirror he became furious and punched Ms. Wells in the face multiple times. Based on his investigation, Deputy Sheriff Hunter arrested Mr. Seevers for domestic violence and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

On 1 Mar 14 Linda K. Brooks, age 51, 2606 Robinson Hill Road, Marietta, reported she received a package at her home that was not addressed to her and it was from a sender that she does not know. A canine indicated the presence of drugs in the package and 253 grams of marijuana were found inside it. This case remains under investigation (509).

On 1 Mar 14 the L-A Fire Department transported a forty-five year old Lowell resident to Marietta Memorial Hospital for treatment following an intentional prescription drug overdose. Medical personnel said the woman’s condition was not life threatening and should not worsen (1104).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Jarrod Roddney Templeton, age 28, 1793 Benedict Road, Fleming, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Templeton was arrested at the Sheriff’s Office by Deputy Sheriff McPeek and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Mar 14 at 2:45 am.

Logan Wesley Grimm, age 25, 9160 Veto Road, Belpre, for domestic violence and for breach of recognizance, both misdemeanors. Grimm was arrested in Dunham Township by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Mar 14 at 12:46 pm.

Jeffrey Thomas Seevers Jr., age 32, 100 Tadpole Run Road, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Seevers was arrested at the Landings Campground by Deputy Sheriff Hunter and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Mar 14 at 2:55 pm.
