Archive of 02-26-14

On 26 Feb 14 an employee of Ransom Drilling, 26450 State Route 7, Marietta, reported at some point during the previous day an unknown suspect(s) stole an employee’s personal CB radio from a company owned vehicle. This case remains under investigation (113).

On 26 Feb 14 Shane P. McCune, age 46, 211 Augenstein Road, Lowell, received treatment at Marietta Memorial Hospital for a head injury he sustained while working on his property. Mr. McCune was intoxicated and working in his barn when he accidentally struck his head and was knocked unconscious. He was treated and released from the hospital (507).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Robert Lee Vaughn II, age 39, 617 Franklin Avenue, Belpre, for felonious assault and for misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct by intoxication and failure to appear. Vaughn was arrested on Main Street by Patrolman Holiday of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Feb 18 at 2:34 am.

Johnathan Elwood Porter, age 35, 1203 Lynnburge Avenue, Zanesville, for felony charges of breach of recognizance and theft and a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear. Porter was picked up in Hardin County, KY by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Feb 18 at 5:44 pm.

Christopher Scott Holder, age 29, 910 Fourth Street, Marietta, for theft, a misdemeanor. Holder was arrested at Wal-Mart by Patrolman Kramer of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Feb 18 at 8:11 pm.
