On 22 Feb 14 Deputy Sheriffs Augenstein, Call and Metts responded to a domestic dispute at 1666 School House Road, Little Hocking. Denise Keel, age 45, said her adult son was irritable as a result of an ongoing toothache and upset that she would not allow him to drive her vehicle because he did not have a valid license. Ms. Keel said her son began yelling and threw a glass of water but not in her general direction. The alleged suspect provided a similar story and concurred with his mother in that no physical violence occurred. Ms. Keel’s son agreed to stay elsewhere for the evening in order to avoid further problems. As a result, Deputy Call closed this case as unfounded.

On 22 Feb 14 Deputy Sheriffs Augenstein and Call responded to the scene of death of an eighty year old Lowell resident. The man’s death appears to be due to natural causes; no foul play is suspected.

On 22 Feb 14 Debra Pryor, age 42, 120 Mitchell Drive, Newport, reported she believes her son forcibly entered her home that evening. Ms. Pryor said her son resides elsewhere but frequently enters her residence in an attempt to steal prescription medication. Questioned following his arrest on an unrelated warrant, Corey P. Pryor, age 20, 90 Mitchell Drive, Newport, admitted forcibly entering his mother’s home using a screwdriver. Mr. Pryor stated once he was inside the home he stole six of his younger sister’s Adderall pills. Mr. Pryor also admitted consuming two of the pills and selling the remaining four. Consequently, Mr. Pryor was also charged with burglary.

On 22 Feb 14 Deputy Sheriff McKee arrested Darian M. Taylor, age 18, 1255 Cornerville Road, Marietta, and Mackenzie Vogt, age 18, 1915 Silver Globe Road, Marietta, for underage consumption of alcohol. Ms. Taylor’s mother reported her daughter hosted an underage drinking party the previous night and requested extra patrols in her area. After observing individuals outside the residence, Deputies spoke to Ms.Taylor and Ms. Vogt and noticed they had odors of alcohol. Ms. Taylor and Ms. Vogt both admitted consuming alcohol at a Marietta bar that evening and tested .076 and .116 BAC, respectively.

The following individual was processed into the Washington County Jail:

Randall Craig Wilson, age 56, 105 Leland Avenue, Marietta, for criminal trespassing, a felony. Wilson was arrested on Gilman Avenue by Patrolman Estes of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Feb 18 at 1:36 am.
