On 17 Feb 14 the Little Hocking Fire Department transported a thirty-five year old Fredericktown, OH resident to Marietta Memorial Hospital for treatment following a suicide attempt at his ex-girlfriend’ home in Little Hocking. The victim admitted consuming forty-one of his ex-girlfriend’s oxycodone pills in an attempt to take his own life. The victim’s current condition is unknown (507).

On 17 Feb 14 Lt. Norman and Sgt. Reeder attempted to serve warrants on Jessie J. Bell, age 33, at his residence at 4220 Welch Road, Little Hocking. Seeing the Deputies outside, Mr. Bell fled through a back door and into a nearby wooded area. Sgt. Reeder noticed footprints in the deep snow and subsequently located Mr. Bell two hundred yards away. In addition to being arrested on the warrants, Mr. Bell was also charged with obstruction of justice.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Jon Lee Barker Jr., age 22, 126 Walker Street, Marietta, for a felony charge of breaking and entering and a misdemeanor charge of domestic violence. Barker was arrested in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Metts and processed into the Washington County Jail on 17 Feb 14 at 12:52 pm.

Jesse James Bell, age 33, 4220 Welch Road, Little Hocking, for obstructing justice, for operating a vehicle without a license and for operating a vehicle with fictitious plates, all misdemeanors. Bell was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Reeder of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 17 Feb 14 at 3:15 pm.

Erica Theandra Kidder, age 21, 1244 Drag Strip Road, Belpre, for contempt of a court order, a misdemeanor. Kidder turned herself in to Corrections Officers and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 17 Feb 14 at 8:33 pm.

Quinton Andrew Phillips, age 22, 20689 State Route 676, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Phillips was arrested at Muskingum Terrace by Patrolman Estes of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 17 Feb 14 at 10:56 pm.
