On 15 Jan 14 Robert G. King, age 49, 318 Everson Road, Belpre, reported at some point during the past two days an unknown suspect(s) entered his garage and stole a .22 handgun from a compartment in his vehicle. This case remains under investigation (113).

On 15 Jan 14 a neighbor reported residents at 120 Back Road, Macksburg, were burning ceiling tiles, wood cabinets and other items that created noxious fumes in the area. This case remains under investigation (594).

On 15 Jan 14 Teresa A. Everson, age 61, 365 Everson Road, Belpre, reported she recently discovered an unknown suspect(s) entered a motor home stored on her property and rifled through cabinets and drawers. Ms. Everson said nothing appears to be missing from the motor home. This case remains under investigation (296).

On 15 Jan 14 Natisha D. Stephens, age 25, 1237 Lynn Street, Parkersburg, reported her inoperable 2001 Isuzu Trooper was stolen from her uncle’s property at 101 Allen Street, Little Hocking. This case remains under investigation (1007).

On 15 Jan 14 Sgt. Mankins issued a citation to Joseph B. Hupp, age 43, 3020 Laurel Ridge Road, Lowell, for traveling 66 mph in a 55 mph zone. Sgt. Mankins stopped Mr. Hupp on State Route 60 near Lakeside Golf Course in Adams Township.

FELONY DRUG ARRESTS

A local man with a history of drug arrests and who recently served two years in prison for drug trafficking was arrested at a Marietta hotel this morning on drug related charges. Agents of the Major Crimes Task Force arrested Tytus L. Shields, age 25, Marietta, along with Jamal J. Fuller, age 20, 406 S. Harris Avenue, Columbus, and Travon J. Hammons, age 29, 645 Krum Avenue, Columbus, on felony charges of possession of cocaine and tampering with drugs. Armed with information that Shields was dealing drugs out of a room at a hotel, Agents obtained and executed a search warrant. Upon executing the warrant, Agents discovered several items related to drug trafficking, such as razor blades and sandwich bags. Agents also located bags containing drug residue that tested positive for cocaine and a Xanax pill that was altered by being cut in half and stored in a cellophane wrapper.

A fourth subject in the room at time the search warrant was executed, Roseanna D. Harbison, age 18, 1708 Park Street, Parkersburg, was charged with trafficking in heroin and trafficking in cocaine after she was found in possession of drugs while being booked into jail for drug possession. Corrections Officers discovered twenty bags of crack cocaine and eight bags of tar heroin that Ms. Harbison concealed in an undergarment.

All four suspects are being held without bond in the Washington County Jail pending their initial court appearance Thursday morning.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Travon Jermaine Hammons, age 29, 645 Krum Avenue, Columbus, for tampering with drugs and for possession of drugs, both felonies. Hammons was arrested in Marietta by Detective Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Jan 14 at 9:45 am.

Jamal Johnte Fuller, age 20, 406 S. Harris Avenue, Columbus, for tampering with drugs and for possession of drugs, both felonies. Fuller was arrested in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Carr and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Jan 14 at 10:13 am.

Tytus Lamarr Shields, age 25, Marietta, for tampering with drugs and for possession of drugs, both felonies. Shields was arrested in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff McKee and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Jan 14 at 10:32 am.

Angel Beth Jackson, age 31, 207 1/2 Florence Street, Belpre, for three misdemeanor counts of failure to appear. Jackson was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff McConnell and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Jan 14 at 11:00 am.

Roseanna Dale Harbison, age 18, 1708 Park Street, Parkersburg, for two felony counts of trafficking in drugs. Harbison was arrested in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Carr and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Jan 14 at 12:39 pm.

Santana Lynette Lake, age 28, 1308 Williamson Avenue Apt. 8F, New Matamoras, for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor. Lake was arrested in New Matamoras by Patrolman Moyers of the New Matamoras Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Jan 14 at 9:39 pm.
