Archive of 12-31-13

On 31 Dec 13 a business owner in New Matamoras reported finding a motorcycle hidden behind brush on his property. Observing wires protruding from the steering column and coiled together, Deputy Sheriff Huffer concluded the motorcycle was likely stolen. Deputy Huffer contacted the motorcycle’s owner, Brandon T. Krieg, age 26, 33142 State Route 800, New Matamoras, and determined it was stolen from a barn on Mr. Krieg’s grandfather’s property at 50561 State Route 7, New Matamoras. This case remains under investigation.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Willis Virgil Thompson, age 37, 213 Third Street Apt. A, Lowell, for nonsupport of dependants, a felony. Thompson was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Holbert of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 31 Dec 13 at 11:38 am.

Danielle Sue Kuhens, age 34, 3855 Warren Chapel Road, Marietta, for being a fugitive from justice, a felony. Kuhens was arrested in Fleming by Deputy Sheriff Reeder and processed into the Washington County Jail on 31 Dec 13 at 3:11 pm.

Keith Allen Pennington, age 42, 312 Woodward Street, Lewisville, OH, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Pennington was arrested on Pike Street by Patrolman Blasko of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 31 Dec 13 at 7:09 pm.
