On 21 Dec 13 Sgt. Anderson responded to the scene of death of a sixty-six year old Whipple resident. The woman’s death appears to be due to natural causes; no foul play is suspected.

On 21 Dec 13 a member of the Highland Ridge Community Church, 2200 Highland Ridge Road, Lowell, reported he and other church members discovered numerous lengths of copper tubing were cut from the walls and ceiling in the church’s basement. In addition to damage caused by removing the pipe, the theft also led to water damage. This case remains under investigation (1104).

On 21 Dec 13 an employee of the City of Lowell reported he recently noticed a light on in the locked concession stand on Lowell Island. At this time it is unknown what, if any, property is missing. This case remains under investigation (610).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Matthew Sanford Nixon, age 31, 717 Greene Street Apt. A, Marietta, for nonsupport of dependants, a misdemeanor. Nixon was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Huffer and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Dec 13 at 1:00 pm.

Nicole Dawn Weaver, age 23, 7641 Pike Street Lot 21, Mineral Wells, for theft, a misdemeanor. Weaver was arrested at Wal-Mart by Patrolman Caldwell of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Dec 13 at 3:38 pm.

Marissa Dawn Hart, age 21, 628 Marissa Lane, Saint Marys, for theft, a misdemeanor. Hart was arrested at Wal-Mart by Patrolman Caldwell of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Dec 13 at 3:51 pm.
