TWO SUMMONSED FOR ANIMAL

neglect, Deputy Sheriff McGilton requested summonses for Bob
Hasley, age 52, and Luci Yoho, age 45, both of 400 Clinton Street,
Marietta, for cruelty to animals and failing to register a dog.
Despite being advised on previous occasions to provide adequate
food and shelter for their dogs, Mr. Hasley and Ms. Yoho failed
to do so. When Deputy McGilton arrived at the home to investigate
an anonymous tip, she observed one dog outside that was on a
leash that was tangled in debris, leaving the animal with limited
movement. In a nearby kennel, Deputy McGilton noticed three
dogs that appeared extremely malnourished and without proper
bedding for the outside temperature. Another dog kept inside
the residence also appeared malnourished, was missing half of
its hair and had extremely long nails. The veterinarian that
treated the dogs confirmed that all of them were starving. None
