On 30 Oct 13 Etta N. Boswell, age 25, 1083 Reed Road, Marietta, reported she and her husband were away from their residence for the past few days and during that timeframe an unknown suspect(s) entered her home and took her two small dogs. Mrs. Boswell found her dogs at the Humane Society and they were released to her after she paid for dog licenses. This case remains under investigation (912).

On 30 Oct 13 a supervisor for Waterford Tank, 203 State Route 83, Beverly, reported two six foot copper bars, eighty feet of conductor wire, welding contact tips and ground clips were stolen from a storage shed at the business. This case remains under investigation (1010).

On 30 Oct 13 Reggie Johnson, age 55, 1105 Newbury Road, Little Hocking, reported he was assaulted by his wife, Sally, age 66. Mr. Johnson said his wife yelled at him for a period that afternoon for not satisfactorily cleaning ceiling fans in their home. Thereafter, Mr. Johnson accidentally broke a candleholder, which further angered his wife. Mrs. Johnson then threw the matching candleholder at her husband and it broke on his arm, leaving several small cuts. Based on his investigation, Deputy Sheriff Hunter arrested Mrs. Johnson for domestic violence and transported her to the Washington County Jail.

On 30 Oct 13 Ashley D. Hardie, age 25, 3650 County Road 9, Reno, reported she was assaulted by her husband, Robert, age 54. While Mrs. Hardie was packing belongings to leave the residence after an argument, Mr. Hardie retrieved a large kitchen knife. Mr. Hardie then grabbed his wife by the hair, pulled her head back and threatened to cut off her head. Mr. Hardie released his wife from his grasp, at which time he fled in his vehicle with the couple’s eighteen month old daughter. Mr. Hardie was later arrested on a domestic violence warrant at a residence in Saint Marys, WV.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Danielle Anne Dalton, age 21, 37510 Smith Run Road, Rutland, OH, for possession of drugs, a felony. Dalton was arrested at the Courthouse by Patrolman Walters of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 Oct 13 at 10:57 am.

Shawn Michael Mulligan, age 32, 715 Barclay Street Lot 33, Belpre, for theft and criminal trespassing, both misdemeanors. Mulligan was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Cook of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 Oct 13 at 12:05 pm.

Alex Thomas Klintworth, age 21, 300 Starlite Drive Lot 38, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Klintworth was arrested at the office of Probation E. Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 Oct 13 at 2:28 pm.

Curtis Jay Noel, age 52, 255 Arends Ridge Road, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Noel was arrested at the office of Probation Officer P. Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 Oct 13 at 2:52 pm.

Santana Lynette Lake, age 27, 300 Starlite Drive Lot 38, Marietta, for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor. Lake was arrested at the office of Probation Officer P. Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 Oct 13 at 3:13 pm.

Bradley Justin Giffen, age 31, for theft and for two counts of robbery, all felonies. Giffen was picked up at the Huttonsville, WV, Correctional Center by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 Oct 13 at 3:59 pm.

Sally Ann Johnson, age 66, 1105 Newbury Road, Coolville, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Johnson was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Hunter and processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 Oct 13 at 6:34 pm.
