On 24 Oct 13 Sgt. Mankins responded to a domestic dispute at the residence of Cheryl Wilson, age 26, 2888 Brownrigg Road, Waterford. Following an evening of drinking at a bar in Marietta, Mrs. Wilson and her husband were in an argument at their home. Mrs. Wilson stated her husband grabbed her by the arm during the argument, but she did not fear for her safety. Mrs. Wilson said she only phoned for help because she thought the incident could escalate. Based on his investigation, Sgt. Mankins closed this case as unfounded.

On 24 Oct 13 the owner of Lang’s Masonry, Watertown Road, Waterford, reported he discovered a now former employee used a company credit to amass a slew of charges on personal purchases. The personal charges included airfare, hotel rooms, DirecTV, Amazon and Thirty-One. The total amount of the unauthorized charges is between $12,000 and $32,000. Questioned at her residence, the suspect provided a partial list of her purchases and relinquished a tote containing approximately $3,000 of merchandise she purchased with the company credit card. This case remains under investigation (292, 594).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Norman Dean Dunn, age 51, 85 Dunn Lane, New Matamoras, for possession of drugs and trafficking in drugs, both felonies. Dunn was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff McKee and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Oct 13 at 2:16 am.

Stephen Michael Henderson, age 21, 21 Adams Street, Parkersburg, for driving under an FRA suspended license and for having an inoperable headlight, both misdemeanors. Henderson was arrested on Greene Street by Patrolman Thomas of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Oct 13 at 4:08 am.

John William Addlesburger, age 40, 6658 Archers Fork Road, New Matamoras, for possession of drugs, a misdemeanor. Addlesburger was arrested in New Matamoras by Detective Staats of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Oct 13 at 4:31 am.

Brent Allen Dunn, age 29, 63 Dunn Lane, New Matamoras, for a felony charge of assaulting a peace officer and a misdemeanor charge of violating the terms of his probation. Dunn was arrested in New Matamoras by Lt. Norman of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Oct 13 at 5:23 am.

Jason Oneal Jett, age 38, 1601 State Route 821, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Jett was arrested at the office of Probation Officer E. Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Oct 13 at 3:40 pm.

Travis Michael Caplinger, age 27, 5100 Brisco Road, Parkersburg, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Caplinger was arrested on Florence Street by Patrolman Heddleston of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Oct 13 at 5:42 pm.
