On 15 Oct 13 Deputy Sheriff McConnell arrested Jeremy P. Mayle, age 30, 370 Southland Cemetery Road, Cutler, for domestic violence. Three days earlier Mr. Mayle choked his live-in girlfriend after a night of drinking. The victim said Mr. Mayle has been abusive since she moved in with him in August of this year and that she is fearing increasingly more for her safety. While interviewing the victim, Deputies observed what appeared to be bruising on the victim’s neck that was cased by Mr. Mayle’s recent attack.

On 15 Oct 13 Deputy Sheriff Metts requested a summons for a fourteen year old Marietta resident to appear in Juvenile Court on a charge of delinquency for motor vehicle theft. That afternoon the teenager took her stepfather’s Ford pickup truck without his permission. The juvenile in question was charged a day earlier for taking her Seroquel pills to Warren High School and giving them to three of her friends. For driving the stolen truck, the teenager was also issued a citation for operating a vehicle without a license.

On 15 Oct 13 the Reno Fire Department transported a seventeen year old Marietta resident to Marietta Memorial Hospital for injuries suffered in a horseback riding accident. The teenager was riding a horse on property at 855 Browns Road, Marietta, when the horse took off and caused her to fall to the ground. The teenager was treated for minor injuries and released (790).

On 15 Oct 13 Carl E. Ledger, age 25, 955 Mitchell’s Lane, Marietta, reported he recently discovered rods, reels and other fishing equipment were stolen from his vehicle. This case remains under investigation (790).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Phillip Scott McClay, age 50, 10830 State Route 550, Barlow, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. McClay was arrested at the office of Probation Officer E. Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Oct 13 at 11:17 am.

Angela Therese Hile, age 33, 1076 Homewood Road, Parkersburg, for violating the terms of her probation, a felony. Hile was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Gault and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Oct 13 at 12:27 pm.

Jeremiah Lahman Williams, age 37, 150 Constitution Lane, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Williams was arrested at the office of Probation Officer E. Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Oct 13 at 1:36 pm.

Jeremy Phillip Mayle, age 30, 370 Southland Cemetery Road, Cutler, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Mayle was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff McConnell and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Oct 13 at 8:13 pm.

Derek Paul Hadfield, age 26, 1580 Lois Street, Belpre, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Hadfield was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Heddleston of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Oct 13 at 8:49 pm.
