On 25 Sep 13 an employee of Triad Hunter, 27724 State Route 7, Marietta, reported sometime within the past month a total of fifty-six pump jack weights, each weighing between 75 and 100 pounds, were stolen from a storage area. The value of the stolen weights is approximately $5,600. This case remains under investigation (296).

On 25 Sep 13 the owner of Sponey’s IGA, 411 Fifth Street, Beverly, reported an employee stole an item from a store shelf on two occasions that afternoon. Questioned by Lt. Rhodes and Sgt. Reeder, the suspect, Aaron S. Glasser, age 29, 100 Water Street, Lowell, admitted stealing two items from the store. Mr. Glasser stated he was hungry and out of money so he stole a can of baked beans to eat during his lunch break. Mr. Glasser also admitted to later stealing a box of Banquet Homestyle Bakes. Consequently, Lt. Rhodes arrested Mr. Glasser for theft and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

On 25 Sep 13 Ronald S. King, age 60, 300 Tall Pine Lane, Stockport, reported he recently learned that his personal information was used to obtain over $4,000 in student loans and to enroll at Columbus State College. This case remains under investigation (1007).

On 25 Sep 13 Jeffery E. Douglas, age 42, 250 Greenwood Street, Newport, reported he believes his former live-in girlfriend forwarded his mail to her new address in order to obtain his paychecks. The alleged suspect said she returned all of the personal mail belonging to Mr. Douglas to the post office. It does not appear the suspect received any of Mr. Douglas’ checks. This case remains under investigation (910).

On 25 Sep 13 Nancy Lindsey, age 59, 230 East Henniger Road, Lowell, reported earlier this month an unknown suspect(s) entered her home and stole a laptop belonging to her grandson. Deputy Sheriff McKee questioned Ms. Lindsey’s grandson and determined that the grandson had his friend enter the home to retrieve the laptop. Ms. Lindsey did no desire to pursue charges in the matter.

On 25 Sep 13 Lt. Rhodes arrested Aaron R. Robinson, age 19, 1301 Williamson Avenue Apt. 7A, New Matamoras, for domestic violence and underage consumption of alcohol. Highly intoxicated, Mr. Robinson accused his live-in girlfriend, Tiffany Bookman, age 22, of cheating on him. During his tirade, Mr. Robinson punched a hole in a wall, threw objects around the living room and grabbed Ms. Bookman by the neck. Ms. Bookman stated Mr. Robinson’s actions caused her to fear for her safety.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Cassandra Kay Withrow, age 20, 34037 Brownsville Road, New Matamoras, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Withrow was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court by Patrolman Linscott of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Sep 13 at 9:19 am.

Dakota Ryan Waite, age 22, 8744 McKown Lane, Beverly, for criminal damaging, driving under a suspended license and speeding, all misdemeanors. Waite was arrested in Beverly by Patrolman Schaad of the Beverly Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Sep 13 at 8:25 pm.

Aaron Shane Glasser, age 29, 100 Water Street, Lowell, for theft, a misdemeanor. Glasser was arrested in Lowell by Lt. Rhodes of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Sep 13 at 8:59 pm.

Aaron Ryan Robinson, age 19, 1308 Williamson Avenue Apt. 7A, New Matamoras, for domestic violence and for underage consumption of alcohol, both misdemeanors. Robinson was arrested in New Matamoras by Lt. Rhodes of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Sep 13 at 10:46 pm.
