On 11 Aug 13 a caller reported finding several tools along the Muskingum River near Devol's Dam on the Devola side of the river. Approximately seventy-five yards downriver from the dam Deputy Sheriff Carr located a Eureka dust buster and theses Black and Decker tools: a circular saw, an electric drill and two saber saws. This case remains under investigation.

On 11 Aug 13 Robert L. Flowers, age 59, 295 Francis Road, Lowell, reported he's had an ongoing problem with a neighbor's dog roaming at large. A day earlier Mr. Flowers found dog feces and several holes in his yard that he attributed to the neighbor's dog. This case remains under investigation (129).

On 11 Aug 13 Deputy Sheriff Augenstein responded to a domestic dispute at the residence of Jennifer L. Haught, age 20, at 95 Sandhill Road Apt. 1, Marietta. Ms. Haught was involved in an argument with the father of her child over a pack of cigarettes and the status of their relationship. Following the argument, Ms. Haught said her boyfriend grabbed her by the arms and shoved her against a wall. Ms. Haught said the altercation did not cause her to fear for her safety and she did not desire to pursue charges against her boyfriend.

On 11 Aug 13 Jolene L. Delong, age 38, 700 Long Run Road, Newport, reported at some point during the past two days an unknown suspect(s) entered her unlocked garage and turned off her deep freezer, which resulted in the spoiling of half of a side of beef and miscellaneous cuts of chicken, lamb and turkey. Ms. Delong estimates the total loss due to spoilage is between $800 and $1,000. This case remains under investigation (594).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Victoria Ann Hovey, age 30, 34 Oak Street, Parkersburg, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Hovey was arrested on Hickory Lane by Patrolman Blamble of the New Matamoras Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Aug 13 at 12:56 am.

Dallas Willey Farnsworth, age 40, Marietta, for theft and failure to appear, both misdemeanors. Farnsworth was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Hilverding of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Aug 13 at 12:48 pm.

Patricia Ann Bonar, age 36, 146 Stone Quarry Road, Fleming, for failure to appear, a felony. Bonar was arrested in Belpre by Lt. Norman of the Washington County Sheriff's Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Aug 13 at 1:56 pm.

Timothy Shawn Wines, age 42, 70 Anderson Lane, Waterford, for assault, a misdemeanor. Wines was arrested in Beverly by Deputy Sheriff Carr and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Aug 13 at 5:24 pm.

Ryan Patrick Nelson, age 30, 1110 Hocking Road Apt. B, Belpre, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Nelson was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Greathouse of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Aug 13 at 6:09 pm.
