On 7 Aug 13 Deputy Sheriff Metts responded to the scene of death of a forty year old Marietta resident. The woman’s death appears to be due to natural causes; no foul play is suspected.

On 7 Aug 13 Joseph J. Miller, age 74, 1680 North Fork Road, New Matamoras, reported he believes an acquaintance who visited his home the previous day stole a nearly full bottle of Vicodin pills. This case remains under investigation (126).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Toni Ann Berry, age 38, 668 Tip Lane, Beverly, for two felony counts of trafficking in drugs. Berry turned herself in to Corrections Officers and processed into the Washington County Jail on 7 Aug 13 at 8:00 am.

Latoya Lynn Russell, age 29, 1044 Hadley Lane, Marietta, for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor. Russell was arrested at the office of Probation Officer P. Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 7 Aug 13 at 11:05 am.

Thomas Earl Brandt, age 30, 304 Maple Street, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Brandt was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Ellenwood of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 7 Aug 13 at 1:20 pm.

William Charles Sprouse, age 30, 157 Wisconsin Avenue, Columbus, for nonsupport of dependants, a felony. Sprouse was picked up at the North Central Regional Jail by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington County Jail on 7 Aug 13 at 6:45 pm.

Lori Lynn Leedy, age 48, 619 Connett Road, Nelsonville, for illegal assembly of drug making chemicals, safecracking, tampering with drugs, two counts of tampering with evidence and two counts of trafficking in drugs. Leedy was picked up at the Ohio Reformatory for Women by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington County Jail on 7 Aug 13 at 7:48 pm.

Orville Lee Lewis Selvey, age 51, 180 Sells Road Apt. I1, Lancaster, for two misdemeanor counts of nonsupport of dependants. Selvey was picked up in Delaware County by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington County Jail on 7 Aug 13 at 8:23 pm.
