On 6 Aug 13 Wendy Seevers, age 38, 1440 Sandhill Road, Marietta, reported sometime overnight her GMC Envoy was taken from outside her residence. Contacting Ms. Seevers’ creditor, Deputy Sheriff White determined the vehicle was not stolen, it was repossessed.

On 6 Aug 13 the owner of Lane’s Fruit Farm, 20620 State Route 676, Marietta, reported he caught two unknown males he believes were trying to enter a building on his property. The owner declined to pursue charges in the matter and informed the suspects they were not permitted on the property (910).

On 6 Aug 13 Douglas H. Henry, age 55, 320 Stony Run Road, Beverly, reported he and his wife were inside their home when they smelled smoke. Mr. Henry subsequently observed smoke emanating from under the hood of his Pontiac Grand Prix that was parked in the garage. Mr. Henry was able to extinguish the fire with a fire extinguisher and a water hose. Damage to the vehicle was limited to the engine compartment (113).

On 6 Aug 13 a twenty-seven year old Little Hocking resident reported he received a harassing message via Facebook. The suspect in this case was previously advised by a Deputy to cease having contact with the victim. This case remains under investigation (1007).

On 6 Aug 13 Deputy Sheriff White and the Little Muskingum Fire Department were dispatched to a farm vehicle fire at 370 Felter Road, Reno. Owned partly by Michael P. Duff, age 35, 75 Goss Fork Road, Whipple, the New Holland hay baler caught fire around 10 pm. Possibly caused by an overheated bearing, the fire completely destroyed the baler.

On 6 Aug 13 Lt. Gherke issued a citation to David C. Hall, age 59, 173 Riverview Estates Lot 36, Saint Marys, for operating a vehicle without a license. Lt. Gherke stopped Mr. Hall after he observed him traveling the wrong direction on the exit ramp for Virginia Street on State Route 7.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Michael David Schilling, age 44, 4525 Sparling Road, Waterford, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Schilling was arrested in Marietta by Probation Officer P. Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 6 Aug 13 at 12:24 pm.

Brian Scott Moore, age 38, 1220 Williamson Avenue, New Matamoras, for theft, a misdemeanor. Moore was arrested at the Probation Office by Patrolman Ellenwood of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 6 Aug 13 at 1:09 pm.

Johnathan Patrick Perry, age 21, 231 Hillcrest Drive Apt. A, Marietta, for domestic violence, a felony. Perry was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Warden of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 6 Aug 13 at 3:21 pm.

Brian Joseph Isner II, age 26, 108 Oakview Drive, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Isner was arrested at the office of Probation Officer P. Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 6 Aug 13 at 5:06 pm.
