On 13 Jul 13 Deputy Sheriff Augenstein and
the Beverly-Waterford Fire Department were dispatched to a fire
at a vacant house on the property of George H. Klintworth, age
50, at 14285 Muskingum River Road, Lowell. The home, which was
used to store auto parts and other various items, burned completely
to the ground. The fire also damaged two inoperable vehicles
that were parked near the home.
On 13 Jul 13 between the hours of 7 am and
10:15 am an unknown suspect(s) damaged on mailbox on Ash Road
and seven mailboxes on Muskingum River Road in Lowell and Muskingum
townships. This case remains under investigation (129).
On 13 Jul 13 a sixteen year old Vincent resident
reported her twelve year old brother threatened to kill her,
pointed a pocket knife at her and threw a block of wood through
a glass door. Threatened with corporal punishment after he began
cursing and refused to complete chores, the suspect hit and
kicked his sister several times. The suspect then produced the
knife and threatened to kill his sister. The suspect subsequently
threw the knife down and ran outside, at which point the victim
locked him out of the home. Once the suspect realized the door
was locked, he threw the wood through the glass of the front
door. Charges against the juvenile are pending in this case
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Joseph Lee Slider, age 23, 415 Barber Avenue,
Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a felony.
Slider was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Thomas of
the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 13 Jul 13 at 1:10 am.
Levell Maurice Ramsey, age 45, Marietta, for
a felony charge of breaking and entering and a misdemeanor charge
of theft. Ramsey was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Linscott
of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 13 Jul 13 at 8:51 pm.
