On 10 Jul 13 a forty year old Vincent resident reported her fifteen year old foster daughter attempted to leave the home without permission. While being escorted back to the home the teenager attempted to strike her foster mother on two occasions. Back in her room, the teenager punched her foster mother in the arm. The teenager subsequently punched her foster father in the face when he tried speaking to her outside her room. Contacted by Deputy Sheriff Reeder, Children’s Services removed the juvenile from the home and sought other placement for her.

On 10 Jul 13 Terry L. McCarty, age 50, 125 Hickory Street, Lower Salem, reported he left his debit card out earlier in the day and during that time he believes his two sons took it without permission. Mr. McCarty said the debit card was later used to make four unauthorized transactions totaling $389.25. This case remains under investigation (126).

On 10 Jul 13 Jennifer Osborne, age 39, 321 Main Street, Waterford, reported a friend of her son borrowed her son’s bicycle two weeks ago and during the time he had it the bicycle was stolen. Also approximately two week ago, Ms. Osborne said an unknown suspect(s) entered a vehicle parked on her property and stole a can of Skoal tobacco and an unknown quantity of beer. This case remains under investigation (610).

On 10 Jul 13 Deputy Sheriff Hunter was en route to an alarm call when he encountered a structure fire at 140 Stanleyville Road, Marietta. It appeared that a passing storm caused a branch from a pine tree to fall onto power lines, which then fell on the roof of the home. The Devola and Fearing fire departments responded and extinguished the fire, but not before it consumed almost the entire residence. Neither the homeowner, Eric Robinson, age 42, nor his family was home when the fire erupted. No foul play is suspected.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Michael Anthony Snider, age 39, 518 Columbia Avenue Apt. 4, Williamstown, for two felony counts of trafficking in drugs. Snider turned himself in to Corrections Officers and was and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Jul 13 at 6:14 am.

Eldon Ray Pierce Jr., age 37, 207 Florence Street, Belpre, for two misdemeanor counts of nonsupport of dependants. Pierce was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Reeder and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Jul 13 at 11:03 am.

Jenna Danielle Radabaugh, age 23, 213 1/2 Elm Street, Marietta, for theft, possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, all misdemeanors. Radabaugh was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Nedeff of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Jul 13 at 10:00 pm.

Joshua Leroy Gore, age 25, 130 Cemetery Drive, New Matamoras, for two misdemeanor counts of driving under an FRA suspended license. Gore was picked up at the Monroe County line and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Jul 13 at 4:50 am.
