On 8 Jul 13 Sgt. Reeder issued a citation to Shanna L. Jewell, age 35, 200 Brittigan Circle, Marietta, for driving under a suspended license. Sgt. Reeder stopped Ms. Jewell near milepost four on State Route 60 in Muskingum Township.

On 8 Jul 13 a family member reported Charles Baker III, age 40, 435 Francis Road, Lowell, was intoxicated and making suicidal comments. Arguing with family members, Mr. Baker retrieved a shotgun and exited his residence. After a brief struggle, a family member grabbed the shotgun and unloaded it. Mr. Baker has prior felony convictions on charges of burglary and gross sexual imposition and is not permitted to own a firearm. Based on his investigation, Deputy Sheriff Carr arrested Mr. Baker for a felony charge of being in possession of a weapon while under disability and for misdemeanor charges of using a weapon while intoxicated and disorderly conduct by intoxication and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Christopher Justin Starcher, age 29, Belpre, for hit-skip and for failing to file a tax return, both misdemeanors. Starcher was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Greathouse of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Jul 13 at 11:18 am.

Regina Lynn Hoover, age 49, 845 County House Lane, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Hoover was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff White and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Jul 13 at 2:47 pm.

Charles William Baker III, age 40, 435 Francis Road, Lowell, for a felony charge of being in possession of a weapon while under disability and for misdemeanor charges of using a weapon while intoxicated and disorderly conduct by intoxication. Baker was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Carr and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Jul 13 at 7:07 pm.
