On 16 Jun 13 Deputy Sheriff Augenstein issued a citation to Joshua R. Busch, age 32, 970 Browns Road, Marietta, for driving under a suspended license. Deputy Augenstein stopped Mr. Busch on Byers Road near Sate Route 7 in Marietta Township.

On 16 Jun 13 Gary W. Baughan, age 72, 25 Allen Street, Little Hocking, reported at some point during the past several days an unknown suspect(s) damaged a camper he stores at 1200 Drag Strip Road, Belpre. The suspect(s) damaged the windshield, the interior and dash, spray painted obscenities on the outside and removed a television from the inside. This case remains under investigation (1007).

On 16 Jun 13 Thomas Witten, age 33, 3800 Muskingum River Road, Lowell, reported he was traveling to his home when he observed a vehicle stuck in his field. Erica A. Bruce, age 23, 111 W. Montgomery Street Apt. 23, Marietta, admitted driving the vehicle and said she ran off the road when she swerved to avoid a deer. Mrs. Bruce said she consumed alcohol that evening and provided with a breath sample that showed a BAC of .104. Therefore Deputy Metts arrested Mrs. Bruce for OVI and transported her to the Washington County Jail. Present during the accident, Mrs. Bruce's husband was advised to not have the car towed until morning to avoid further damage to Mr. Witten's field. Despite the warning, Mrs. Bruce's vehicle was later seen attached to a tow truck and additional damage observed in Mr. Witten's field. Possible charges are pending in that aspect of the incident.

On 16 Jun 13 Christopher D. Becker, age 29, 658 Robinson Hill Road, Marietta, reported he was assaulted by his live-in girlfriend, Gail Woodell, age 31. Mr. Becker said he argued with his girlfriend throughout the evening and at one point Ms. Woodell struck him in the chest and arm with a baseball bat. Ms. Woodell subsequently began throwing Mr. Becker's property out of the home because she was angry he did not return home the previous night. Based on his investigation, Deputy Sheriff White arrested Ms. Woodell for domestic violence and transported her to the Washington County Jail.

On 16 Jun 13 Keith A. Crace, age 42, 236 Francis Road, Lowell, reported at some point during the past day an unknown suspect(s) entered his home and stole his recently filled prescriptions of Vicodin and Xanax. This case remains under investigation (610).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Gail Marie Woodell, age 31, 658 Robinson Hill Road, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Woodell was arrested in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Metts and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Jun 13 at 5:19 am.

Misty Lou Crace, age 39, 236 Francis Road, Lowell, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Crace was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff McKee and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Jun 13 at 5:08 pm.

Jeffrey Alan Theiss, age 35, 27130 State Route 7, Marietta, for a felony charges of violating the terms of his probation for possession of criminal tools and for a misdemeanor charge of for failing to reinstate his operator's license. Theiss was arrested on Dudley Avenue by Patrolman Linscott of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Jun 16 at 8:27 pm.

Erica Ann Bruce, age 23, 111 W. Montgomery Street Apt. 23, Marietta, for OVI and for operating a vehicle without a license, both misdemeanors. Bruce was arrested on Rainbow Road in Lowell by Deputy Sheriff Metts and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Jun 13 at 11:19 pm.
