On 26 May 13 Christine M. Diamond, age 51, 555 Sand Ridge Road, Waterford, reported she received notification that her credit card was used to make an unauthorized internet purchase. Speaking to the alleged suspect, Lt. Stackpole determined she accidentally entered a wrong digit at the end of her credit card and did not do so intentionally. As a result, Lt. Stackpole closed this case as unfounded.

On 26 May 13 Deputy Sheriff Huffer requested a summons for a seventeen year old Marietta resident to appear in Juvenile Court on a charge of delinquency by assault. During an argument with his sixteen year old sister, the teenager punched her in the ribs and then punched through the glass in their home’s front door. The Fearing Fire Department responded to treat a laceration on the teenager’s hand and to treat the teenager’s mother, who appeared to be having an anxiety attack. The teenager later apologized to his sister for punching her.

On 26 May 13 Deputy Sheriff Blamble arrested Sandy Grayson, age 46, 10765 State Route 339, Vincent, for domestic violence. Confronting her husband in their garage for allegedly speaking on the phone to another woman, Mr. Grayson’s wife, Carol, age 63, usurped the phone from her husband’s hand and attempted to speak to the woman. Mr. Grayson followed his wife as she retreated to their kitchen, where he grabbed her by her by the arms and wrists. Mrs. Grayson suffered bruising and swelling to her arms and wrists and stated she feared for her safety during the incident.

On 26 May 13 Ian Bules, age 25, 409 Strecker Lane, Marietta, reported he was delivering a pizza at 45 Caywood Road, Marietta, when a medium sized brown dog bit him on the wrist and behind his knee. Lt. Gherke determined that a child in the home accidentally released the dog from inside the home and that the dog was not intended to attack Mr. Bules. Mr. Bules suffered only a minor puncture wound behind his knee.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Reginald Shannon Fields, age 21, 12804 Revere Avenue, Cleveland, for OVI and for failing to obey the right of way, both misdemeanors. Fields was arrested near the intersection of Second and Greene streets by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 May 13 at 2:50 am.

Sandy Koufax Grayson, age 46, 10765 State Route 339, Vincent, for domestic violence and for violating the terms of his probation, both misdemeanors. Grayson was arrested on Kitts Drive in Waterford by Deputy Sheriff McPeek and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 May 13 at 8:19 am.

Michael Carmett Ayers, age 52, Parkersburg, for felony and misdemeanor counts of violating the terms of his probation and a misdemeanor charge of contempt of a court order. Ayers was arrested on State Route 60 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 May 13 at 12:28 pm.
