Archive of 05-20-13

On 20 May 13 James T. Smith, age 37, 87 Tower Road Apt. 2, Little Hocking, reported he was away from his residence for two and a half hours that afternoon and during that timeframe an unknown suspect(s) entered his home and stole approximately fifty of his hydrocodone pills. This case remains under investigation (129).

On 20 May 13 Susan Smith, age 39, 1779 Masonic Park Road, Marietta, reported when she and her husband returned home they noticed their son, Jeffrey, age 18, and his friend, Dewaine W. Mayle, age 25, appeared highly intoxicated. Angry after being admonished by his mother, Mr. Smith stormed out of the residence and punched the side of the mobile home, leaving three dents. Mr. Smith then punched the side of his mother’s SUV and left a dent. Mr. Mayle also argued with Mrs. Smith and fled from the home. He was later located hiding under a work bench in a neighbor’s shed. At that time Deputy Sheriff McPeek arrested Mr. Mayle for disorderly conduct by intoxication and transported him to the Washington County Jail. Mr. Smith subsequently turned himself in to Deputy McPeek and was charged with disorderly conduct by intoxication and two counts of criminal damaging.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Justin Michael Hashman, age 29, 10 Second Street, Athens, for two felony counts of theft. Hashman turned himself in to Corrections Officer Sheaves and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 May 13 at 7:13 am.

Amanda Dawn Keys, age 33, 1243 Greens Run Road, Saint Marys, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Keys was arrested Marietta Municipal Court by Patrolman Blasko of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 May 13 at 9:41 am.

Dewain William Mayle, age 25, 1779 Masonic Park Road, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication and for violating the terms of his probation, both misdemeanors. Mayle was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff McPeek and processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 May 13 at 9:10 pm.

Jeffrey Dwayne Smith, age 18, 1779 Masonic Park Road, Marietta, for underage consumption of alcohol and two counts of criminal damaging, all misdemeanors. Smith turned himself in to Deputy Sheriff and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 May 13 at 10:40 pm.
