On 10 May 13 Sgt. Mankins and Deputy Sheriff McConnell responded to an altercation at 680 Main Street Apt. B, Waterford. Richard Finley, age 52, and his wife Jacqueline, age 41, were involved in an argument when Mrs. Finley picked up a kitchen knife. Mrs. Finley did not threaten her husband with the knife but Nicole R. McCutcheon, age 35, 680 Main Street Apt. A, intervened in an attempt to keep anyone from getting hurt. A brief quarrel between the intoxicated parties followed, during which a mess was made of the apartment. For their actions, Mr. Finley, Mrs. Finley and Ms. McCutcheon were arrested for disorderly conduct by intoxication and transported to the Washington County Jail. The BAC results were Mr. Finley - .204, Mrs. Finley - .224 and Ms. McCutcheon - .144.

On 10 May 13 Danny Gage, age 61, 56 Patten Mills Road, Cutler, reported he recently noticed approximately fifteen scrap car, truck and lawn mower batteries missing from property he owns at 769 West Road, Cutler. This case remains under investigation (1104).

On 10 May 13 the Warren Fire Department transported a forty year old Marietta resident to Marietta Memorial Hospital for treatment to an overdose on the prescription medication, Flexeril. Upset over the status of her relationship with her husband, the victim ingested a large quantity of her medication. The victim was coherent and cooperative with emergency personnel and is expected to recover fully (1104).

On 10 May 13 a thirteen year old Waterford Elementary School student reported another student showed her a handgun on the bus while on the way home from school that afternoon. Questioned about the weapon, the twelve year old suspect said the handgun was an unloaded Airsoft BB gun. The suspect said he did not threaten anyone with the gun and said he took it to school in order to take it to his father’s house after school. School officials said the school would discipline the suspect for his actions (610).

On 10 May 13 Lt. Stackpole arrested Kevin W. Thomas II, age 31, 1505 Turkey Hollow Road, Cutler, for violating the terms of a protection order. Knowing there was a protection order forbidding him from contacting his wife, Mr. Thomas spent the previous day and evening with her. Mr. Thomas’ wife was uncooperative and would not provide a statement.

Erick Cline, age 26, 309 Maple Street, Belpre, for failing to appear for pretrial on 6 May 13.

Amanda Keys, age 33, 90 Dye Street, Newport, for failing to appear for pretrial on 6 May 13.

Alaynee Anderson, age 20, 127 Groves Avenue, Marietta, for disorderly conduct on 15 Apr 13.

Nicole M. Martin, age 28, 236 Liberty Avenue, Clarksburg, WV, for failing to appear for pretrial on 29 Apr 13.

Kelcei M. Masters, age 19, 301 Woodview Circle, Williamstown, for failing to appear for pretrial on 3 May 13.

Steven Sprague, age 62, PO Box 827, Dickinson, ND, for coercion committed on 1 Jun 12.

Clinton A. Barnes, age 21, 2760 Pleasant Ridge Road, Marietta, for failure to appear for sentencing on 26 Apr 13.

Ryan D. McFann, age 28, 105 State Route 555 Apt. 5, Little Hocking, for failing to appear to serve five days in jail on 8 Apr 11.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Nicole Renee McCutcheon, age 35, 680 Main Street Apt. A, Waterford, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. McCutcheon was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff McConnell and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 May 13 at 2:13 am.

Jacqueline Tanya Finley, age 41, 360 Main Street, Waterford, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Finley was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff McConnell and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 May 13 at 2:46 am.

Richard Allen Finley, age 52, 680 Main Street Apt. B, Waterford, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Finley was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Mankins of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 May 13 at 3:06 am.

Brandon Lane Myers, age 19, 77 Oliver Road, Whipple, for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, a felony. Myers was arrested in Marietta by Detective Smeeks of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 May 13 at 11:00 am.

Heather Sawn Thompson, age 24, 116 Harmar Street, Marietta, for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor. Thompson was arrested at the office of Probation Officer P. Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 May 13 at 4:15 pm.

Kurt Ryan Medley, age 36, 121 Cornerstone Drive, Marietta, for assault, a misdemeanor. Medley turned himself in at the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 May 13 at 5:34 pm.

Brandon Todd Wheeler, age 19, 4663 State Route 43, Kent, OH, for theft, a misdemeanor. Wheeler was arrested at Wal-Mart by Patrolman Caldwell of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 May 13 at 7:16 pm.

Kevin Wayne Thomas II, age 31, 1505 Turkey Hollow Road, Cutler, for violating the terms of a protection order, a misdemeanor. Thomas was arrested at his residence by Lt. Stackpole of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 May 13 at 7:26 pm.

Tyler Joseph Deyoung, age 19, 4662 State Route 43, Kent, OH, for theft, a misdemeanor. Deyoung was arrested at Wal-Mart by Patrolman Caldwell of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 May 13 at 7:30 pm.

Joshua Eric Allan, age 20, 884 Greenhill Road, Marietta, for felony charges of tampering with evidence and receiving stolen property and a misdemeanor charge of theft. Allan was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff McPeek and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 May 13 at 11:21 pm.
