On 4 May 13 Kayla D. Christman, age 18, 10 Browns Road Apt. 2C, Marietta, reported her former boyfriend, Donald R. Morgan, age 22, 1153 Clement Avenue, Belpre, forced his way into her home and began arguing about a security deposit. When he did not get the answer he wanted, Mr. Morgan threatened to harm Ms. Christman’s current boyfriend and departed to confront the boyfriend at his place of employment. Ms. Christman also said on 20 Apr Mr. Morgan assaulted her at her apartment. During a discussion over their relationship, Ms. Christman said Mr. Morgan grabbed her by the cheek and hair. Ms. Christman attempted to flee but Mr. Morgan restrained her around the chest. For his actions on both occasions, Mr. Morgan was charged with burglary, abduction, assault and menacing. Mr. Morgan later turned himself in at the Washington County Jail.

On 4 May 13 Arch L. Wilson, age 85, 4951 Braun Road, Belpre, reported sometime since the end of January an unknown suspect(s) entered a safe in his garage and stole four rings and in excess of $3,000 in cash. This case remains under investigation (1007).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Ray Yousif Hakop, age 35, 1084 Mabel Drive, Vinton, VA, for driving under a suspended license, speeding and possession of drug paraphernalia, all misdemeanors. Hakop was arrested near milepost ten on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 May 13 at 3:09 am.

James B. Chambers III, age 23, 112 Sixth Street, Beverly, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Chambers was picked up at the Athens County line by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 May 13 at 7:44 pm.

Donald Raymond Morgan II, age 22, 1153 Clement Avenue, Belpre, for felony charges of burglary and abduction and misdemeanor charges of assault and menacing. Morgan was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Carr and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 May 13 at 9:52 pm.

Brian Tyler Long, age 18, 13120 State Route 676, Watertown, for OVI, underage consumption of alcohol, for operating a vehicle with an expired license, for being in possession of an open container of alcohol and for failing to obey the right of way, all misdemeanors. Long was arrested on Third Street in Beverly by Patrolman Miller of the Beverly Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 May 13 at 11:32 pm.
