On 2 May 13 Brian R. Morgan, 319 Simpson Street, Marietta, reported at some point during the past several days an unknown suspect(s) entered his elderly mother’s home at 309 Simpson Street and stole over $1,000 from a small safe. This case remains under investigation (1104).

On 2 May 13 Deputy Sheriff Holbert responded to a domestic dispute at the residence of Pamela Gereshenski, age 44, at 817 Masonic Park Road Lot 4, Marietta. After accusing her husband of stealing her money and cigarettes, Mrs. Gereshenski said her husband slapped her on the arm. Mrs. Gereshenski’s husband departed the residence shortly thereafter and did not return to the residence in order to avoid further problems. Mrs. Gereshenski’s husband alleged his wife was intoxicated and out of control and stated that he may have slapped her arm after she tried to grab him. Based on his investigation, Deputy Holbert closed this case as unfounded.

On 2 May 13 an off duty Marietta police officer reported a female passenger in a vehicle he was following on State Route 821 appeared to be yelling and attempting to exit the vehicle. Deputy Sheriff Holbert stopped the vehicle near State Route 60 and identified the passenger as Ali R. Martin, age 24, 423 Third Street, Marietta. The driver of the vehicle, Ms. Martin’s father, stated he was attempting to drive his daughter to drug rehab in Dayton when she became irate. Ms. Martin was uncooperative with Deputies and was observed throwing a hypodermic needle onto the ground. A search of the vehicle yielded an additional needle that Ms. Martin said she uses to inject heroin. As a result of the traffic stop, Deputy Holbert arrested Ms. Martin for disorderly conduct and possession of drug abuse instruments and transported her to the Washington County Jail.

the Sheriff’s Office received the following warrants:

Scott Greathouse, age 43, 125 Francis Road, Lowell, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on an order to show cause on 15 Apr 13.

Natasha K. Dunn, age 23, 29 Garden City Road, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by fighting on 10 Apr 13.

David W. Hart, age 33, 2236 State Route 83, Beverly, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on an order to show cause on 22 Apr 13.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Travis Edgar Pasco, age 25, 103 Muskingum Drive, Marietta, for failing to reinstate his operator’s license and speeding, both misdemeanors. Pasco was arrested at his residence by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 May 13 at 10:00 am.

Brian Keith Edgar, age 26, 27400 State Route 7 Lot 80, Marietta, for driving under an FRA suspended license, a misdemeanor. Edgar was arrested at his residence by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 May 13 at 11:30 am.

Wayne Blake Watkins, age 31, 4652 Desdemona Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA, for felony charges of being a fugitive from justice and receiving stolen property and a misdemeanor charge of speeding. Watkins was picked up in Athens and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 May 13 at 12:25 pm.

Ali Rae Martin, age 24, 423 1/2 Third Street, Marietta, for disorderly conduct and possession of drug abuse instrument, both misdemeanors. Martin was arrested near milepost one on State Route 821 by Deputy Sheriff R. Reeder and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 May 13 at 2:30 pm.

Dallas Willey Farnsworth, age 39, Marietta, for domestic violence, a felony. Farnsworth was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Hupp of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 May 13 at 11:51 pm.
