Archive of 04-24-13

On 24 Apr 13 Sgt. Mankins and Deputy Sheriffs Augenstein and McKee responded to a domestic dispute at a residence on State Route 555 in Cutler. Angry that she would not be permitted to go on a class trip, a fourteen year old female began yelling and cursing at her grandfather. Witnesses confirmed the incident was only verbal and that no physical violence took place. The Deputies subsequently learned the teenager showed two fourth grade students inappropriate photos on a mobile phone while riding a school bus. Questioned about the images, the teenager stated she obtained the photos while exchanging nude photos with multiple men and teenagers she met using a social media website and a text messaging application. The juvenile faces charges in Juvenile Court for showing the inappropriate photos to the fourth graders. The investigation into the subjects with whom the teenager exchanged photos is ongoing.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Kirsten Janna Waybright, age 22, 2491 Christy Road, Marietta, for OVI and failure to appear, both misdemeanors. Waybright was arrested in Marietta by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Apr 13 at 11:18 am.

Joseph Scott Antill, age 35, 5195 Warren Chapel Road, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Antill was arrested in Marietta by Probation Officer Ferrell and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Apr 13 at 11:59 am.

Michael David Slonaker, age 55, 1209 Williamson Avenue, New Matamoras, for two felony counts of possession of drugs. Slonaker was arrested at his residence by Detective Staats of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Apr 13 at 5:03 pm.
