On 19 Apr 13 Debora Wingrove, age 57, 75 Vincent Avenue, Vincent, reported she believes her former daughter in law obtained her social security number and used it to open an account with Dish Network. Ms. Wingrove learned of the crime after receiving notice from a collection agency seeking payment of a past due bill in the amount of $939.73. This case remains under investigation (129).

On 19 Apr 13 Deputy Sheriff Augenstein requested summonses for Latoya R. Clifton, age 24, 20 Stacy Orchard Road, Marietta, and Tiffany M. Johnston, age 24, 104 Riley Drive Apt. 10, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by fighting. Ms. Johnston was dropping her children off at her ex-husband’s residence when she made a derogatory comment about Ms. Johnston, who is her ex-husband’s girlfriend. A brief quarrel followed, during which Ms. Johnston shoved Ms. Clifton and Ms. Clifton slapped Ms. Johnston. The involved parties, including Ms. Johnston’s ex-husband, complained of harassing Facebook and text messages and were advised to cease contacting each other.

On 19 Apr 13 Sgt. Reeder and Deputy Sheriff White responded to a domestic dispute at the residence of Shayna Schwendeman, age 23, at 27325 State Route 7 Apt. A, Marietta. Ms. Schwendeman’s estranged husband, Jason Schwendeman, age 29, was at the residence to retrieve some property when he became irate that she would not speak to him about their relationship. Mr. Schwendeman chased his wife out of the home with his fists clenched, forcing her to flee to a neighbor’s residence. Confirming Ms. Schwendeman’s statement with a witness, Sgt. Reeder arrested Mr. Schwendeman for domestic violence and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

On 19 Apr 13 Deputy Sheriff Carr arrested Charles Wells, age 50, 309 Main Street, Lower Salem, for domestic violence. The previous afternoon Mr. Wells grabbed his daughter, Melissa, age 29, threw her onto a bed and held her down, while threatening to break her jaw and put her in the hospital. Ms. Wells said she was not initially upset but when she realized she could not get up she began to fear for her safety.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Serena Fawn Biehl, age 36, 311 Chestnut Street, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by fighting, resisting arrest and obstructing official business, all misdemeanors. Biehl was arrested on Fifth Street by Patrolman Nedeff of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Apr 13 at 4:11 am.

Brian Scott Moore, age 37, 1220 Williamson Avenue, New Matamoras, for a felony charge of being a fugitive from justice and for misdemeanor charges of violating the terms of a protection order, resisting arrest, theft, criminal trespassing and failure to appear. Moore was arrested in New Matamoras by Deputy Sheriff Carr and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Apr 13 at 8:16 am.

Joshua Leroy Gore, age 25, 130 Cemetery Drive, New Matamoras, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Gore was arrested in Marietta by Probation Officer Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Apr 13 at 9:44 am.

David Andreas Decker, age 19, 610 Wooster Street, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Decker was arrested in Marietta by Probation Officer Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Apr 13 at 11:17 am.

Shannon Marie Lang, age 32, 355 Bowersock Road, Reno, for violating the terms of her parole, a felony. Lang was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Rhodes and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Apr 13 at 4:01 pm.

Josey Cheyenne Barton, age 22, 407 Maple Street Apt. 1, Marietta, for illegal conveyance of items into a detention facility, a felony. Barton was picked up at the Ohio Reformatory for Women by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Apr 13 at 4:03 pm.

Robert Michael McKinney, age 25, 4495 Chicken Coop Road, Lancaster, OH, for failure to appear, a felony. McKinney was picked up at the Fairfield County Jail by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Apr 13 at 5:11 pm.

Charles Riley Wells Jr., age 50, 309 Main Street, Lower Salem, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Wells was arrested in at his residence by Deputy Sheriff McKee and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Apr 13 at 5:35 pm.

James Clair Schwendeman, age 29, 37325 State Route 7 Apt. A, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Schwendeman was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Reeder of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Apr 13 at 9:38 pm.
