On 15 Apr 13 Deputy Sheriff Augenstein investigated an accident involving two students at the Washington County Career Center at 21740 State Route 676, Marietta. The drivers provided conflicting stories as to where the vehicles were parked but it appears that a seventeen year old Lowell resident was backing when the front driver side fender of her Ford Focus struck the rear passenger side fender of a Toyota Corrolla occupied by Darian M. Taylor, age 18, 1255 Cornerville Road, Marietta. The collision caused minor damage to both vehicles.

On 15 Apr 13 Kristy D. Weaver, age 35, 1016 Dugan Road, Belpre, reported sometime overnight an unknown suspect(s) entered a storage building on her property and stole a ten year old lawnmower. This case remains under investigation (507).

On 15 Apr 13 a family member reported at some point since the beginning of September 2012, an unknown suspect(s) removed the catalytic converters from three vehicles owned by his grandmother, Roberta Parsons, age 87, at her residence at 673 Rocky Point Road, Fleming. This case remains under investigation (507).

On 15 Apr 13 an employee of Mid-Ohio Valley Bulk Transport, 14949 State Route 7, Marietta, requested assistance in a search for drugs and/or paraphernalia after an employee was fired for testing positive for cocaine. Following a canine indication for the presence of drugs in the former employee’s semi-truck, Deputy Sheriff Underwood searched the truck and discovered a crack pipe. Deputy Underwood confiscated the pipe and marked it for destruction.

On 15 Apr 13 Deputy Sheriff Augenstein responded to a domestic dispute at the residence of Samantha Hardie, age 33, at 70 Walnut Drive, Whipple. Mrs. Hardie admitted being involved in a loud argument with her husband but said it did not turn violent. As a result, Deputy Augenstein closed this case as unfounded.

On 15 Apr 13 Deputy Sheriff Schubert requested a summons for Cheryl McAlarney, age 59, 375 Dalzell Road, Whipple, for failing to register a dog. Ms. McAlarney attempted to register her dog past the 31 Jan 13 deadline and when she was informed she had to pay a late fee, she became irate and refused to pay the additional fee. Deputy Schubert gave Ms. McAlarney the opportunity to purchase the tag by paying the additional fee but Ms. McAlarney was defiant, stating she would take her chances on being cited.

On 15 Apr 13 Emilee Schwendeman, age 20, 211 Rummer Road Apt. C, Marietta, reported two female acquaintances followed her in a vehicle as she traveled to her residence and began screaming at her when she pulled into her driveway. Ms. Schwendeman said she’s had ongoing problems with Sara Harris, age 20, and Alaynee Anderson, age 20, both of 127 Groves Avenue, Marietta, and the two taunted her as she retreated inside her home. At one point during the confrontation Ms. Anderson threw a soft drink that struck Ms. Schwendeman and Ms. Schwendeman’s father’s car. Questioned about the incident, both women admitted following Ms. Schwendeman to her residence and Ms. Anderson admitted throwing a soft drink at Ms. Schwendeman. Based on his investigation, Deputy Sheriff Metts requested summonses for Ms. Anderson and Ms. Harris for disorderly conduct.

On 15 Apr 13 Lt. Rhodes issued a citation to Lindsey J. Moore, age 22, 1053 Oak Grove Road, Waverly, WV, for not wearing a seat belt. Lt. Rhodes originally stopped Ms. Moore for having improper license plates on her vehicle near the intersection of Washington Street and Second Street in Marietta.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Terrel Coy Davis, age 28, 1968 Princeton Street, Parkersburg, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Davis was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court by Probation Officer Rhodes and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Apr 13 at 9:48 am.

Charles Edward Schob III, age 21, 10 Browns Road Apt. 3B, Marietta, for breach of recognizance, criminal damaging and menacing, all misdemeanors. Schob was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court by Patrolman Linscott of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Apr 13 at 9:58 am.

Brent Allen Dunn, age 29, 79 Dunn Lane, New Matamoras, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Dunn was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Apr 13 at 10:19 am.

Nichole Yvonne Hesson, age 31, 1006 17th Street, Parkersburg, for failure to appear and for two counts of possession of drugs, all felonies. Hesson was picked up at the North Central Regional Jail by Deputy Sheriff Harlow and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Apr 13 at 10:48 am.

Alicia Dawn Rivera, age 29, 411 ½ Third Street, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Rivera was arrested on Third Street by Patrolman Hilverding of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Apr 13 at 3:16 pm.

Lindsey Mae Tornes, age 22, 1160 Hadley Hollow Road, Marietta, for criminal trespassing, a misdemeanor. Tornes was arrested on Broughton Avenue by Patrolman Ellenwood of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Apr 13 at 3:43 pm.

Timothy James Seevers, age 41, Marietta, for sexual battery, interference with custody, two counts of rape and two counts of failing to register a change of address as a registered sex offender, all felonies. Seevers was picked up at the South Central Regional Jail and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Apr 13 at 5:38 pm.

Jillian Kay Panchott, age 20, 500 Schwendeman Road, Lowell, for telephone harassment, a misdemeanor. Panchott was arrested at her residence by Sgt. Mankins of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Apr 13 at 6:03 pm.

Felicia Dawn Webb, age 33, 733 Burns Avenue, Cincinnati, for falsification, a misdemeanor. Webb was arrested on Elm Street in Belpre by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Apr 13 at 8:26 pm.

Erick Alan Cline, age 26, 309 Maple Street, Belpre, for criminal damaging, possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing official business, all misdemeanors. Cline was arrested by Patrolman Heddleston at the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Apr 13 at 9:11 pm.
