Archive of 04-13-13

On 13 Apr 13 Deputy Sheriff Huffer investigated a report of an intoxicated driver at BP in New Matamoras. The driver, Robert C. Thompson, age 26, 2487 Old Camp Road, New Matamoras, reportedly struck a large rock as he attempted to exit the parking lot and broke his truck’s driveshaft when he backed the vehicle into the parking lot after striking the rock. Mr. Thompson admitted consuming six beers and commented multiple times that he was drunk. Following his poor performance on field sobriety tests, Mr. Thompson was arrested for OVI and transported to the Washington County Jail. Mr. Thompson subsequently tested .211 BAC.

On 13 Apr 13 Deputy Sheriff Hunter issued minor misdemeanor citations to Emma L. McKitrick, age 37, 550 Offenberger Road, Whipple, and Everett W. McKitrick, age 36, 39686 Cranes Nest Road, Woodsfield, for disorderly conduct. At a residence on Ewing Road in Reno that afternoon the two were involved in an argument over the poor health of their father. Witnesses confirmed that during the argument each party threatened to strike the other. No physical violence took place.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Robert Christopher Thompson, age 26, 2487 Old Camp Road, New Matamoras, for OVI, a misdemeanor. Thompson was arrested in New Matamoras by Deputy Sheriff Holbert and processed into the Washington County Jail on 13 Apr 13 at 5:44 am.

Harrison Cimarron Featherstone, age 28, 2511 Brocton Court, Columbus, for a felony charge of possession of drugs and misdemeanor charges of possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to appear. Featherstone was arrested on Muskingum Drive by Patrolman Hansen of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 13 Apr 13 at 11:30 am.

Taylor Marie King, age 23, 224 S. High Street, Marion, OH, for possession of drugs, a felony. King was arrested on Muskingum Drive by Patrolman Chapman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 13 Apr 13 at 11:40 am.

Kerra Bryce Vicars, age 32, 606 41st Street, Vienna, for driving under a suspended license and two counts of failure to appear, all misdemeanors. Vicars was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Heddleston of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 13 Apr 13 at 8:35 pm.
