On 24 Mar 13 Sgt. Reeder responded to the scene of death of a ninety-four year old Newport resident. The woman’s death appears to be due to natural causes; no foul play is suspected.

On 24 Mar 13 Deputy Sheriff Augenstein arrested Kyle J. Somerville, age 22, 121 Sixth Street, Morgantown, WV, for contributing to the delinquency/unruliness of a minor. Despite previously being advised to cease having contact with a fifteen year old Marietta resident, Mr. Somerville arranged to meet the teenager and to have her spend the night at his Parkersburg home. The teenager, who was charged with being unruly, lied to her mother about spending the night at a friend’s home.

On 24 Mar 13 the Little Hocking Fire Department transported a thirty-nine year old Belpre resident to Camden Clark Hospital for treatment to a prescription drug overdose. The woman, who ingested a handful of her pills, was in stable condition and scheduled to undergo a mental evaluation (790).

On 24 Mar 13 Gale A. Hendershot, age 47, 210 1/2 Second Street, New Matamoras, reported he believes a friend that visited him briefly that afternoon stole a large amount of pills from two of his prescription bottles. This case remains under investigation (1007).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Tina Marie Sims, age 48, 11870 Veto Road, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Sims was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff McConnell and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Mar 13 at 12:21 am.

David Allen Sayres, age 48, 625 Market Street, Parkersburg, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Sayres turned himself in to Sgt. Mankins at the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Mar 13 at 12:52 pm.

Jonathan Elwood Porter, age 34, 701 Jackson Street, Sarahsville, for failure to appear, a felony. Porter was arrested in Macksburg by Deputy Sheriff Metts and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Mar 13 at 9:08 am.

Kyle Jordan Somerville, age 22, 121 Sixth Street, Morgantown, WV, for contributing to the delinquency/unruliness of a minor, a misdemeanor. Somerville was arrested in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Augenstein and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Mar 13 at 9:39 am.
