On 23 Mar 13 Deputy Sheriff McConnell requested a summons for Daniel T. Reese, age 54, 12590 State Route 550, Fleming, for disorderly conduct by intoxication. Heavily intoxicated, Mr. Reese fell down a flight of steps in his home and suffered a laceration on his forehead. The Barlow Fire Department responded and transported Mr. Reese to Marietta Memorial Hospital for treatment. Mr. Reese tested .398 BAC.

On 23 Mar 13 Larry W. Collins, age 61, 16th Street, Vienna, reported at some point during the past four days an unknown suspect(s) entered a home he owns at 8394 State Route 555, Cutler. Stolen from the home were a television and a Wii system with five games. This case remains under investigation (107).

On 23 Mar 13 Deputy Sheriff McKee and the Barlow and Watertown fire departments responded to a fire on the property of Thomas R. Howard, age 62, at 2191 Hoover Road, Waterford. Mr. Howard was burning brush approximately twenty feet from a storage shed when the fire spread. Surrounding brush caught fire as well and was extinguished after a short period of time. The shed, which did not contain anything of value, was completely burned.

On 23 Mar 13 Deputy Sheriff McConnell responded to reports of an unknown female lying in a ditch near the intersection of Barnett Ridge Road and Veto Road. Near the scene, Deputy McConnell observed the suspect, later identified as Tina M. Sims, age 48, 11870 Veto Road, Marietta, walking in and out of traffic. Ms. Sims had a strong odor of alcohol and admitted consuming four margaritas she purchased at a nearby gas station. For her safety, Ms. Sims was arrested for disorderly conduct by intoxication and transported to the Washington County Jail.

On 23 Mar 13 Violet Seagrave, age 58, 101 Evans Street Apt. A5, New Matamoras, reported she was involved in a disagreement with her husband. During the argument over money, Mrs. Seagrave said her husband threw a wad of paper at her that left a knot on her leg. Unable to corroborate Mrs. Seagrave’s account or to find evidence of a crime, Deputy Sheriff Augenstein closed this case as unfounded.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Kenneth Allan Haessly Jr., age 38, 410 Dana Road, Newport, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Haessly was arrested in New Matamoras by Sgt. Mankins of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 Mar 13 at 12:41 am.

Crystal Dawn Seevers, age 29, 162 Dawes Circle Apt. 1, Marietta, for OVI, driving under a suspended license and failure to control, all misdemeanors. Seevers was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Estes of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 Mar 13 at 4:28 am.

Jonathan James Hall, age 25, 615 Front Street Lot 1, Marietta, for a felony charge of domestic violence and for misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest and obstructing official business. Hall was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Linscott of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 Mar 13 at 9:11 pm.
