On 10 Mar 13 Sgt. Mankins and Deputy Sheriff Carr responded to a report of a male with a head injury at 1035 Beebe Road, Waterford. The Beverly Waterford Squad was treating Jason L. Sampson, age 24, 1450 Watertown Road, Waterford, for a 2.5 inch laceration on the left side of his head that he suffered after falling down eighteen stairs. Appearing heavily intoxicated, Mr. Sampson adamantly refused hospital treatment and became belligerent when he was repeatedly advised such treatment would be prudent. Mr. Sampson ultimately declined treatment and remained at the scene. The Deputies determined no foul play was involved in the incident.

On 10 Mar 13 Deputy Sheriff Carr requested a summons for a fifteen year old Marietta resident to appear in Juvenile Court for being unruly. The juvenile left her home without permission and was later located in the company of an individual with whom she was previously ordered to cease having contact.

On 10 Mar 13 Jerrianne Myers, age 19, 110 Browns Alley, Marietta, reported she was assaulted by her live-in boyfriend, Jeremy J. Nicholas, age 34. Ms. Myers stated Mr. Nicholas has been violent toward her for the past two weeks and during the day’s dispute he slapped her, shoved her against a deck rail and struck her with a soda bottle. Approximately four weeks pregnant, Ms. Myers said she feared for her safety and for that of her unborn child. Consequently, Deputy Sheriff McKee arrested Mr. Nicholas for two felony counts of domestic violence and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Earl Gene Norman, age 21, 290 Oakwood Drive, McConnelsville, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Norman was arrested on Ferry Street by Patrolman Miller of the Beverly Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Mar 13 at 3:05 am.

Canaan Deanne Schultz, age 19, 3084 Chase Hill Road, Stockport, for driving under a suspended license, a misdemeanor. Schultz was arrested on Ferry Street by Patrolman Miller of the Beverly Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Mar 13 at 3:22 am.

Jeremy John Nicholas, age 34, 110 Browns Alley, Marietta, for two felony counts of domestic violence and a misdemeanor charge of violating the terms of his probation. Nicholas was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff McKee and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Mar 13 at 10:52 pm.
