On 5 Mar 13 Alice Nay, age 38, 9105 State Route
550, Vincent, reported she was involved in an altercation with
her husband, Timothy, age 43. Angry that his wife used funds
from his unemployment check without notifying him, Mr. Nay initiated
a confrontation. An argument escalated to a physical altercation,
during which Mr. Nay shoved his wife and grabbed her by the
hair and neck. Mr. Nay acknowledged being in an argument with
his wife but denied assaulting her. Based on his investigation,
Deputy Sheriff Augenstein arrested Mr. Nay for domestic violence
and transported him to the Washington County Jail.
On 5 Mar 13 Deputy Sheriff Augenstein requested
a summons for a seventeen year old Marietta resident to appear
in Juvenile Court on a charge of delinquency by possession of
drug paraphernalia. Earlier in the day the principal at the
Washington County Career Center smelled marijuana on the teenager
as they passed in a hallway. A subsequent search of the student
yielded a metal marijuana pipe. When questioned, the juvenile
admitted smoking marijuana before the start of school.
On 5 Mar 13 Thomas L. Schaad, age 57, 3851
Buchanan Road, Waterford, reported at some point during the
past week and a half an unknown suspect(s) entered his home
and stole a number of his prescription Opana and hydrocodone
pills. This case remains under investigation (129).

Shalanda Renee Curtis, age 30, 1233 Cisler
Drive, Marietta, for violating the terms of her probation, a
felony. Curtis was arrested at the office of Probation Officer
Gilchrist and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5
Mar 13 at 10:13 am.
Timothy Curtis Nay, age 43, 9105 State Route
550, Vincent, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Nay was
arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Augenstein and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 5 Mar 13 at 11:32 am.
Stephon Eli Hite, age 23, 6998 Brooks-Miller
Road, Circleville, OH, for violating the terms of his probation,
a felony. Hite was picked up at SEPTA by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Mar 13 at
