On 24 Feb 13 Jeremy Allen, age 28, 25 State Route 339, Belpre, reported he was watching television when his wife initiated an argument and raised her fist at him in a threatening manner. After his wife departed and returned to the residence, Mr. Allen said his wife’s tirade continued, with her punching him in the head and groin. Mr. Allen’s wife countered that her husband was intoxicated, followed her around the home and would not allow her to leave so she grabbed him in the groin. Deputy Sheriff Metts concluded no act of domestic violence occurred, however, charges of disorderly conduct are a possibility for both parties.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Charles Clinton Carpenter, age 28, 110 Tower Road, Little Hocking, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Carpenter was arrested on Mill Branch Road by Deputy Sheriff Metts and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Feb 13 at 12:01 am
