On 20 Feb 13 an employee of Hocking Tire, 166
Tower Road, Little Hocking, reported on 20 Nov 12 a customer
wrote a check for $898 for the purchase of four tires that was
later returned for nonsufficient finds. This case remains under
On 20 Feb 13 Lori Schilling, age 42, 350 Ray
Harr Road, Beverly, reported sometime between 18 Feb and 19
Feb an unknown suspect(s) cut the lock off a storage unit at
a facility she owns at 19290 State Route 60, Beverly. Ms. Schilling
was unsure if anything was missing and stated she believes the
lock was cut off by the renter of the unit, who lapsed on his
monthly payments. This case remains under investigation (610).
On 20 Feb 13 a caller reported her father found
a suicide note left by her twenty-one year old brother and her
brother was nowhere to be found. Lt. Stackpole attempted to
locate the twenty-one year old but was unsuccessful. The man’s
father said he was not concerned with his son’s safety
and stated he felt his son was upset because he turned off his
son’s mobile phone.
The following individual
was processed into the Washington County Jail:
Scott Anthony Daniels, age 23, 1110 Neil Street,
Parkersburg, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor.
Daniels was picked up at the Fairfield County Sheriff’s
Office by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 20 Feb 13 at 4:30 pm.
