On 30 Jan 13 a caller reported her ex-husband, Ronald D. Meyers II, age 32, 105 ½ Barber Street, Marietta, was en route to pick up her daughter for visitation and she believed he was intoxicated. Questioned by Deputy Sheriff McKee, Mr. Meyers admitted consuming three or four drinks and driving to the residence. Inside Mr. Meyers’ vehicle, Deputy McKee observed an open can of Bud Light as well as a cup filled with an alcoholic beverage. Following his poor performance on field sobriety tests, Mr. Meyers was arrested for OVI and for driving under an OVI suspended license and transported to the Washington County Jail. At the jail, Mr. Meyers tested .094 BAC.

On 30 Jan 13 Brooke M. Miller, age 39, 50 Flint Run Road, Waterford, was reportedly pulling her vehicle into a driveway at 1399 Tick Ridge Road, Vincent, when she failed to negotiate the turn and slid off the driveway into wet grass. When Ms. Miller attempted to move the vehicle it became more stuck and was removed by a tow truck. The Ford SUV did not sustain any damage. A neighbor of the home’s resident, Penny McClain, age 44, phoned Ms. McClain and alleged Ms. Miller was doing donuts in the yard when the vehicle became stuck. Ms. McClain later reported Ms. Miller has been harassing her and yesterday repeatedly sent her vulgar text messages and left threatening voicemails. Ms. McClain said Ms. Miller’s actions caused her to fear for her own and her son’s safety. Consequently, Deputy Sheriff Carr arrested Ms. Miller for telephone harassment, criminal mischief and menacing and transported her to the Washington County Jail.
