Archive of 01-18-13

On 18 Jan 13 an employee of the Silver Moon Diner, 7665 State Route 339, Vincent, reported in November a customer paid $44 for a meal with a check that was later returned for nonsufficient funds. Contacting the alleged suspect, Sgt. Reeder arranged for the suspect to repay the diner for the meal plus a $10 returned check fee. The owner declined to pursue charges in the matter.

On 18 Jan 13 Reece Watson, age 31, 100 Morningside Drive, Marietta, reported sometime between 10:30 pm and 11 pm that evening an unknown suspect(s) kicked open a door to his home and stole a fifty inch television and an outdoor table and chair set. The total value of the stolen items is approximately $2,200. This case remains under investigation (126).

the Sheriff’s Office received the following warrants:

Richard E. Adams, age 38, 7 W. Twenty-Nine Drive, Nelsonville, for failing to appear for pretrial on 15 Jan 13.

Christopher A. Miller, age 25, 1321 Johnson Street SE, Massillon, OH, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $643.50.

Ellen K. Patterson, age 42, 119 Warner Street, Marietta, for cruelty to animals and abandoning animals on 7 Jan 13.

Roger A. Patterson, age 46, 119 Warner Street, Marietta, for cruelty to animals and abandoning animals on 7 Jan 13.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Earl Darwin Tidd Jr., age 52, 20349 Marietta Road, Dexter City, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Tidd was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Hall and processed into the Washington County Jail on 18 Jan 13 at 12:10 am.

William Brian Lucas, age 39, 200 Pennock Drive Lot 4, Beverly, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Lucas was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Miller of the Beverly Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 18 Jan 13 at 11:22 pm.
