Archive of 12-24-12

On 24 Dec 12 Deputy Sheriff McKee responded to a report that a toddler was found walking without a guardian in the area of IGA in Newport. Speaking to the four year old’s stepfather, Deputy McKee determined the juvenile escaped from his Maple Street home while his stepfather was in another room. Children’s Services conducted an investigation and concluded that the incident was accidental and that the juvenile need not be removed from the home.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Jericho Lee Pugh, age 23, 1490 Pugh Road, Stockport, for a felony charge of tampering with evidence and misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct by intoxication, obstructing official business, violating the terms of his probation, failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines and possession of drug paraphernalia. Pugh was arrested on Zanesville Street by Patrolman Miller of the Beverly Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Dec 12 at 12:21 am.

Tyrique Deonta Kemp, age 30, 923 Charles Street, Akron, for driving under a suspended license, speeding, possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, all misdemeanors. Kemp was arrested near milepost eight on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Dec 12 at 3:20 am.

Joe Edward Reed, age 63, PO Box 108 Waterford, for OVI, a misdemeanor. Reed was arrested near Waterford Bank by Patrolman Miller of the Beverly Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Dec 12 at 9:34 pm.
