On 19 Dec 12 Deputy Sheriff Metts and the Barlow Fire Department responded to a fire at the home of Marlene Hysell, age 61, at 57 Deming Road, Vincent. It appears the cause of the fire is a pan of hot grease Ms. Hysell placed on the stove to make french fries. The home and its contents were a near total loss. No injuries were reported.

On 19 Dec 12 Deputy Sheriff Augenstein requested a summons for Lois Archer, age 49, 311 Walnut Street Apt. 2, Lowell, for criminal trespassing. At her ex-husband’s residence in Marietta Township that evening, Ms. Archer ignored her children’s repeated requests to leave the property.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Jonathan Nicholas Wetzel, age 35, 320 Campbell Street, Coolville, for violating the terms of his probation, a felony. Wetzel was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Dec 12 at 6:50 am.
