On 8 Dec 12 Deputy Sheriff McPeek requested summonses for Michael E. Allen, age 50, 2053 Laurel Ridge Road, Marietta, and his live-in girlfriend, Gena D. Stalford, age 48, for disorderly conduct by fighting. Intoxicating after sharing a bottle of vodka, Mr. Allen and Ms. Stalford were involved in an altercation that resulted in a broken television. Deputy McPeek determined both parties were equally at fault in the incident.

On 8 Dec 12 John S. Bailey, age 68, 9020 State Route 550, Vincent, reported sometime overnight an unknown suspect(s) stole a 1991 Ford F-250 from his property. The truck was later recovered after being crashed near milepost eleven on State Route 676. This case remains under investigation (208).

On 8 Dec 12 the vice president of the Lower Salem Baseball Association reported the president of the association recently discovered two refrigerators were stolen from their concession stand at 9828 State Route 821, Lower Salem. This case remains under investigation (126).

On 8 Dec 12 Robert Flinn, age 32, 1600 19th Street, Parkersburg, reported a Tom Tom GPS and a tool bag were stolen from his truck while it was parked at the Marietta Shrine Club for several hours that evening. This case remains under investigation (1010).

On 8 Dec 12 Sgt. Anderson and Deputy Sheriff Caltrider responded to the scene of death of a sixty-seven year old Stockport resident. The man’s death appears to be due to natural causes; no foul play is suspected.

The following individual was processed into the Washington County Jail:

Dennis Charles Wolfe, age 21, 1046 Murdoch Avenue Apt. 5, Parkersburg, for OVI and for failing to obey the right of way, both misdemeanors. Wolfe was arrested on Washington Street by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Dec 12 at 3:30 am.
