On 2 Dec 12 Deputy Sheriff McKee requested a warrant for Jamie J. Cooper, age 50, 101 Oak Street, Marietta, for telecommunications harassment. Despite previously being asked to cease contacting the forty-seven year old victim, Mr. Cooper repeatedly phoned and text messaged the victim during the last week of November.

On 2 Dec 12 Sgt. Mankins arrested Daniel Waterman, age 20, 105 Hickory Street, Lower Salem, for underage consumption of alcohol. Found walking along State Route 60 at 4 am, Mr. Waterman had a strong odor of alcohol and admitted consuming beer at a friend’s residence that evening. At the Washington County Jail Mr. Waterman tested .201 BAC.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Travis Glen Spain, age 29, 522 Third Street, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Spain was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Dec 12 at 1:51 am.

Zachary Jeffrey Trefz, age 21, 109 Main Street, Williamstown, for OVI, for operating a vehicle without a license, for making an improper turn and for failure to appear, all misdemeanors. Trefz was arrested in Marietta by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Dec 12 at 3:54 am.

Daniel Dewayne Waterman, age 20, 10 Hickory Street, Lower Salem, for underage possession of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Waterman was arrested on State Route 60 by Sgt. Mankins of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Dec 12 at 4:46 am.

Richard James LaMonica, age 28, 2395 Sheets Run Road, New Matamoras, for burglary, a felony. LaMonica was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Augenstein and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Dec 12 at 1:36 pm.
