On 26 Nov 12 Clifton Spencer, age 67, 52 Saint Andrews Boulevard, Belpre, reported over a span of the past five days he noticed a band saw, an air compressor, a jig saw and a tool cabinet were missing from a storage shed on his property. Mr. Spencer later located one of the stolen items in Parkersburg at the residence of his daughter’s boyfriend’s brother. Questioning witnesses, Deputy Sheriff Metts determined Mr. Spencer’s daughter took the items and sold them. Informed of Deputy Metts’ conclusion, Mr. Spencer declined to pursue charges and stated he would make arrangements to retrieve his belongings.

On 26 Nov 12 Deputy Sheriff Carr and the Newport Fire Department were dispatched to a brush fire in the vicinity of the intersection of Porter Run Road and Newell Run Road.
