On 1 Nov 12 Deputy Sheriff McLeish issued a citation to Wesley Roberts, age 20, 1064 Mayle Ridge Road, Cutler, for driving under a suspended license. Deputy McLeish originally stopped Mr. Roberts for having a defective exhaust near the intersection of State Route 550 and 555 in Wesley Township.

On 1 Nov 12 Deputy Sheriff R. Reeder responded to the scene of death of an eighty-nine year old Marietta resident. The man’s death appears to be due to natural causes; no foul play is suspected.

On 1 Nov 12 Detectives and Deputies responded to the scene of death of a forty-nine year old Whipple resident. Though the woman’s death does not appear suspicious, this case remains under investigation.

the Sheriff’s Office received the following warrants:

Eldon Pierce, age 36, 207 1/2 Florence Street, Belpre, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on an order to show cause on 15 Oct 12.

Scott E. Collins,age 27, 208 Grove Street, Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on 26 Oct 12.

Robert W. Farmer, age 37, 1504 Sharon Avenue, Zanesville, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on 14 Sep 12.

David Hart, age 32, 2236 State Route 83, Beverly, for driving under a suspended license and for not stopping at a stop sign on 17 Oct 12.

Heather C. Jarvis, age 20, 1320 Oak Street, Parkersburg, for underage possession of alcohol and providing false information on 6 Oct 12.

Thomas A. Milstead, age 39, 1090 Centenary Road, Gallipolis, for failing to appear for trial on 29 Oct 12.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Brandon Michael Schmidt, age 22, 916 Franklin Street, Marietta, for theft, disorderly conduct by intoxication and for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, all misdemeanors. Schmidt was arrested on Seventh Street by Patrolman McClelland of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Nov 12 at 3:46 am.

Stacey Lynn Mixer, age 23, 2110 Miller Avenue, Belpre, for violating the terms of his probation, a felony. Mixer was arrested at the Courthouse by Deputy Sheriff Deem and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Nov 12 at 10:10 am.

Jesse Daniel Bullabough, age 40, Marietta, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Bullabough was picked up at the North Central Regional Jail by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Nov 12 at 11:49 am.

Justin Bryant Bailey, age 24, 101 Henry Camp Road Apt. A, Saint Marys, WV, for a felony charge of failure to appear and for two counts of violating the terms of his probation. Bailey was picked up at the North Central Regional Jail by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Nov 12 at 12:09 pm.

Michele Lynn Boyd, age 44, 3701 Zion Ridge Road, Marietta, for using deception to obtain a dangerous drug, a felony. Boyd was arrested at Walgreens by Patrolman Wenzel of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Nov 12 at 7:51 pm.

Embry Skye Stafford, age 27, 702 Sixth Street, Marietta, for being a fugitive from justice, a felony. Stafford was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff R. Reeder and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Nov 12 at 9:24 pm.
