On 29 Oct 12 Steven B. Pinkerman, age 44, 3011
Barth Road, Belpre, reported at some point during the past month
an unknown suspect(s) entered his garage and stole a 1200 watt
generator and a Stihl weed eater. The estimated value of the
stolen items is $500. Mr. Pinkerman declined to pursue the matter
On 29 Oct 12 Sgt. Mankins issued a citation
to Jennifer L. Lyons, age 32, 128 Franklin Street, Marietta,
for driving under an FRA suspended license and for operating
a vehicle with license plates that expired in October 2011.
Sgt. Mankins stopped Ms. Lyons near the intersection of Franklin
and Market streets in Marietta.
On 29 Oct 12 Deputy Sheriff Augenstein and
the Devola, Fearing, Reno and Salem fire departments responded
to a fire at the home of Ray H. Moore, age 33, at 4765 Stanleyville
Road, Whipple. Mr. Moore and his family escaped without injury
after being awoken by a smoke detector. The fire, the cause
of which is unknown, caused severe damage to the home and its
contents. The State Fire Marshal was contacted to determine
the cause of the fire.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Nathan Allen Modlin, age 45, 104 Theis Avenue,
Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Modlin was arrested
at his residence by Patrolman McClelland of the Marietta City
Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 29 Oct 12 at 4:14 am.
Debra Kay Boyce, age 49, 6288 State Route 60,
Lowell, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Boyce turned herself
in to Sgt. Mankins at the Washington County Sheriff’s
Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on
29 Oct 12 at 8:50 am.
Christina Marie Rohrer, age 38, Mitchell Avenue,
Beverly, for OVI, a misdemeanor. Rohrer was arrested in Beverly
by Patrolman Miller of the Beverly Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 29 Oct 12 at 9:40 am.
Deandre Leon Jones, age 25, 1006 14th Street,
Parkersburg, for violating the terms of his probation, a felony.
Jones was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Smith
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Oct 12 at
