On 10 Oct 12 a neighbor reported Shannon C. Mitchell, age 39, 1244 Drag Strip Road, Belpre, was being assaulted by her live-in boyfriend in the front yard of their home. Interviewed by Lt. Norman and Deputy Sheriff McConnell, Ms. Mitchell and the alleged suspect both denied being involved in an argument or physical altercation. Therefore, Lt. Norman closed this case as unfounded.

On 10 Oct 12 Christina D. McGee, age 41, 1045 Sandhill Road Lot 29, Marietta, reported at some point during the past three weeks an unknown suspect(s) stole a 7,500 watt generator from her front porch. Ms. McGee estimates the generator was worth $700. This case remains under investigation (790).

On 10 Oct 12 Tammy L. Hoff, age 53, 360 Hoff Road, Marietta, reported sometime between 1 Oct and 5 Oct two rings, two necklaces, an iPod Touch and a Nikon camera were stolen from her home. The total value of the stolen property is in excess of $625. This case remains under investigation (790).

On 10 Oct 12 Deputy Sheriff Carr arrested Eric T. Kendall, age 37, 130 Muskingum Drive, Marietta, for domestic violence. Highly intoxicated and angry over comments household/family member, Tiffany E. Parker, age 20, 515 Goose Run Road, Marietta, made about his parental skills, Mr. Kendall attempted to attack Ms. Parker. Other household members intervened and a brief scuffle ensued. According to witnesses, Mr. Kendall did not assault anyone but Ms. Parker said his actions that evening caused her to fear for her safety. At the Washington County Jail Mr. Kendall tested .198 BAC.

On 10 Oct 12 Michael D. Francis, age 46, Route 2 Box 275, Elizabeth, WV, reported sometime overnight an unknown suspect(s) entered his semi-truck parked at Iddings Trucking at 741 Blue Knob Road, Marietta, and stole his prescription bottle of Tramadol. This case remains under investigation (1007).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Terry Gilbert Dalton, age 46, 1313 Jewett Drive, Zanesville, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Dalton was arrested at Colonial Terrace by Patrolman Estes of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Oct 12 at 12:33 am.

Jeremy David Wright, age 30, 312 Spring Street, Marietta, for failure to appear and for contempt of a court order, both misdemeanors. Wright was arrested on Glendale Road by Patrolman Ellenwood of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Oct 12 at 9:01 am.

Jeffrey Shane Wittekind, age 24, 316 Gilman Avenue, Marietta, for two misdemeanor counts of failure to appear. Wittekind was arrested at Colonial Terrace by Patrolman Linscott of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Oct 12 at 1:02 pm.

Randall Craig Wilson, age 54, 123 Muskingum Drive, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Wilson was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Wright of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Oct 12 at 8:02 pm.

Devann Georgette Wenzel, age 21, 60 Highland Ridge Road, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Wenzel was arrested on Greene Street by Patrolman Thomas of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Oct 12 at 1:09 am.

Sara Faylian Harris, age 20, 127 Groves Avenue, Marietta, for arson, a felony. Harris was picked up at the Athens County line by Deputy Sheriff McConnell and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Oct 12 at 2:42 am.
