On 8 Oct 12 Lt. Stackpole arrested Audrey M. Lance, age 23, 2378 Sealy Ridge Road Lot 23, Vincent, for possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and for disorderly conduct. Neighbors on Sealy Ridge Road reported Ms. Lance dropped her pants when she was outside and was climbing and talking to trees. Ms. Lance was speaking irrationally and began doing ballet while being interviewed by Lt. Stackpole. At the jail Ms. Lance was found in possession of a marijuana pipe and a small quantity of marijuana.

On 8 Oct 11 Marshall S. Havens, age 31, 10 Browns Road Apt. 11, Marietta, reported sometime overnight an unknown suspect(s) tampered with his car door to gain access to the inside of his vehicle. Once inside the vehicle the suspect(s) stole a GPS unit and a pair of reading glasses. This case remains under investigation (126).

On 8 Oct 12 a witness reported when he was at Stow It Storage at 21 Clifton Road, Little Hocking, that afternoon when he noticed the locks were cut off four storage units. Though the latches on the units were damaged and the doors opened, it does not appear any property was stolen. This case remains under investigation (509, 1293).

On 8 Oct 12 Deputy Sheriff Schubert issued a minor misdemeanor citation to Stephen M. Partin, age 22, 313 Franklin Street, Marietta, for failure to confine/restrain a dog. Mr. Partin’s two pit bulls were running loose that afternoon when one of the dogs allegedly killed a neighborhood cat. Mr. Partin said his dogs do get loose on occasion and were loose for a time that day.

On 8 Oct 12 an employee of Frontier Communications reported he found a number of bullet holes in four units at a telephone substation at the intersection of Germantown Road and Campbell Run Road in Lower Salem. At least one of the projectiles disrupted phone service to the immediate area. This case remains under investigation (1104).

On 8 Oct 12 Roger L. Ward Sr., age 61, 26935 State Route 7 Apt. 2C, Marietta, reported sometime overnight an unknown suspect(s) tampered with the lock to enter his truck and stole his Pioneer stereo receiver. This case remains under investigation (1104).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Matthew Allen Altizer, age 19, 2215 Highland Road, Parkersburg for OVI, for driving outside the marked lanes of travel and for not wearing a seatbelt, all misdemeanors. Altizer was arrested in Washington County by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Oct 12 at 2:52 am.

Jeremy Ray Braun, age 28, 1080 Walsh Road, Vincent, for a felony charge of violating the terms of his parole and a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear. Braun was arrested on Pike Street by Deputy Sheriff Holbert and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Oct 12 at 10:26 am.

Curtis Jay Noel, age 51, 255 Arends Ridge Road, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Noel was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court by Probation Officer P. Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Oct 12 at 3:57 pm.

Michael Shawn Williams, age 36, 3995 Pleasant Ridge Road, Marietta, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Williams was arrested on Fourth Street by Patrolman Estes of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Oct 12 at 7:11 pm.

Audrey Marsha Lance, age 23, 2378 Sealy Ridge Road Lot 23, Vincent, for possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and for disorderly conduct by intoxication, all misdemeanors. Lance was arrested on Sealy Ridge Road by Lt. Stackpole of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Oct 12 at 2:24 pm.

Carla Marie Brooks, age 42, 712 Fifth Street, Marietta for endangering children and for two counts of domestic violence, all misdemeanors. Brooks was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Estes of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Oct 12 at 11:45 pm.
