On 3 Oct 12 Maggie E. Miller, age 19, 1010 Bethel Road, Marietta, reported at some point during the previous day an unknown suspect(s) entered her home and stole her laptop computer. This case remains under investigation (507).

On 3 Oct 12 Deputy Sheriff Holbert arrested Jeremy W. Carpenter, age 27, 280 Jett Hill Road, Marietta, for violating the terms of a protection order. Suzanne Tucker, age 29, 39 Townhall Road, Marietta, reported earlier in the evening she was involved in a verbal confrontation with Mr. Carpenter. Mr. Carpenter was aware Ms. Tucker had a protection order against him and had been living with her for two weeks.

On 3 Oct 12 George Klintworth, age 49, 14283 Muskingum River Road, Lowell, reported sometime overnight an unknown suspect(s) entered an open building on his property and removed several items from junk vehicles and stole a number of loose vehicle parts. This case remains under investigation (597).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Mona Crystal Chesnut, age 52, 12020 Waterford Road, Waterford, for illegal manufacturing/cultivating drugs, a felony. Chesnut turned herself in to Corrections Officers and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Oct 12 at 7:28 am.

Jeremy Wade Carpenter, age 27, 280 Jett Hill Road, Marietta, for violating the terms of a protection order, a misdemeanor. Carpenter was arrested at Marietta Memorial Hospital by Deputy Sheriff Holbert and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Oct 12 at 8:18 am.

Colon Shean Longworth, age 21, 33105 Old Camp Road, New Matamoras, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Longworth was picked up at the Monroe County Jail by Probation Officer P. Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Oct 12 at 3:02 pm.

Amanda Gale Taylor, age 26, 925 High Street, Harrisville, WV, for three felony counts of possession of drugs and for misdemeanor charges of obstructing official business and possession of drug abuse instruments. Taylor was arrested near milepost sixteen on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Oct 12 at 3:51 pm.

Brandon Lee Gibbs, age 19, 827 Ridge Street, Marietta, for a felony charge of compounding a crime and misdemeanor charges of receiving stolen property and violating the terms of his probation. Gibbs was arrested on Greene Street by Patrolman Hanson of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Oct 12 at 7:23 pm.

Tabitha Dawn Way, age 31, 765 Warrior Drive, Vincent, for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor. Way was arrested at her residence by Sgt. Anderson of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Oct 12 at 8:05 pm.

Christopher M. Moneypenny, age 30, 1137 Stadium Drive, Parkersburg, for being a fugitive from justice, a felony. Moneypenny was arrested in Beverly by Patrolman Oliver of the Beverly Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Oct 12 at 9:58 pm.
