On 2 Oct 12 Patrick A. Darroch, age 56, 1262 Belle Avenue, Lakewood, OH, reported sometime between 23 Sep and 2 Oct an unknown suspect(s) entered a hunting cabin and three campers he owns on Shay Ridge Road in New Matamoras. Stolen from the property were an ATV, a shotgun, two chainsaws, a television and two DVD players. This case remains under investigation (910).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Brandon Lee Kennedy, age 24, 668 Hill Road, Cutler, for violating the terms of his probation, a felony. Kennedy was arrested at the Adult Probation Office by Lt. Spencer of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Oct 12 at 12:44 pm.

Goldie Lynn Brookover, age 51, 186 Main Street, Lowell, for a felony charge of theft and misdemeanor charges of menacing and unauthorized use of a vehicle. Brookover was picked up in Columbus by Deputy Sheriff Malone and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Oct 12 at 3:24 pm.

Steven Travis Ball, age 23, 415 Reynolds Road, McConnelsville, for theft, a misdemeanor. Ball was arrested in Beverly by Patrolman Oliver of the Beverly Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Oct 12 at 3:51 pm.

Erick Antonio Newborn, age 27, 2208 35th Central Avenue, Cleveland, for possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Newborn was arrested by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Oct 12 at 4:53 pm.

Kenneth Shawn Brady, age 36, 1300 West Virginia Avenue, Parkersburg, for theft, a misdemeanor. Brady was arrested at Wal-Mart by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Oct 12 at 10:41 pm.
