On 9 Sep 9 Lt. Rhodes issued a citation to Douglas P. Gates, age 45, 1210 Broadway Avenue, Parkersburg, for operating a vehicle without a license and for operating a vehicle with fictitious plates. Lt. Rhodes stopped Mr. Gates on State Route 7 near Joe Skinner Road in Belpre Township.

On 9 Sep 12 Donald C. Rauch, age 72, 2071 Rauch Road, Fleming, reported at some point during the past day an unknown suspect(s) stole three junk electric dryers he had stored on his property. This case remains under investigation (594).

On 9 Sep 12 Mayford Miller, age 54, 1114 Walsh Road, Vincent, reported sometime during the past three days a quantity of firewood, a gallon of gas and a log splitter belonging to his brother were stolen from his property. This case remains under investigation (594).

On 9 Sep 12 Samantha J. Sampson, age 26, 42 Haas Drive, Stockport, reported she was away from her residence between 9 am and 10 pm and at some point during that period an unknown suspect(s) entered her home and stole her prescription bottles of Flexeril and Tramadol. This case remains under investigation (200).

On 9 Sep 12 Lt. Rhodes requested a warrant for Victor L. Thompson, age 34, 906 1/2 Tygart Street, Parkersburg, for telecommunications harassment. Advised two days earlier to cease contacting the mother of his child, Mr. Thompson phoned and sent text messages to the thirty-four year old victim. When Lt. Rhodes spoke to him, Mr. Thompson repeatedly stated he wanted to meet Lt. Rhodes somewhere to fight him.

On 9 Sep 12 Pamela Gereshenski, age 43, 817 Masonic Park Road Lot 4, Marietta, reported she was assaulted by her husband, Michael Page, age 45, who lives in his own trailer at Lot 1. The couple had been drinking at Mr. Page’s residence throughout the day and could not agree who would purchase more alcohol when their supply was depleted. An argument followed, at which time Mr. Page choked his wife and shoved her to the floor. Deputy Sheriff Simmons observed signs of a struggle in the trailer and noticed minor injuries on Ms. Gereshenski. Consequently, Deputy Simmons arrested Mr. Page for domestic violence and transported him to the Washington County Jail. At the time of his arrest Mr. Page tested .307 BAC.

THREE ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES

Three suspects were arrested on 8 Sep 12 after the security department at Kroger in Belpre informed the Belpre Police Department an individual attempted to fill a fake prescription. The Belpre Police Department located the suspect’s vehicle near Fruth Pharmacy in Belpre and identified the three suspects involved in attempting to fill the fake prescriptions. At the request of the Belpre Police Department, the Sheriff’s Office and Major Crimes Task Force arrived to assist. A search of the vehicle, driven by Mario L. Reed, age 28, 2851 Montague Street, Memphis, TN, resulted in the discovery of 180 Lortab pills concealed in a hidden compartment and numerous papers and receipts. The passenger in the vehicle, Nickolas Q. Pruitt, age 29, 2821 Redbud Circle, Memphis, was identified by the Fruth’s employees as having had a fake prescription. The third suspect, Felicia A. Bryant, age 34, 1100 Marechalneil Street, Memphis, was found nearby and had a small quantity of cocaine and 180 Lortab pills in her purse. She had just filled the Lortab prescription in another woman’s name and had yet another woman’s name on a prescription in her purse.

Sheriff Mincks lauded the Belpre Police Department for the bust, stating “the efforts of their officers are essential in the local fight against drugs. The Sheriff’s Office has an excellent working relationship with the Belpre Police Department and with them, we will continue to protect the citizens of Washington County.”

All three suspects remain incarcerated in lieu of bond in the Washington County Jail. Their charges and bonds are as follows:

Mario Reed, bond $500,000
16 counts of Illegal Processing of Drug Documents
1 count of Tampering with Drugs
1 count of Complicity
1 count of Possession of Drugs (Lortab six times the bulk amount)

Nickolas Pruitt, bond $150,000
1 count of Complicity
2 counts of Illegal Processing of Drug Documents

Felicia Bryant, bond $500,000
1 count of Possession of Drugs (cocaine)
1 count Possession of Drugs (Lortab six times the bulk amount)
1 count Obtaining a Dangerous Drug by Deception
1 count Illegal Processing of Drug Documents

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Paul Charles Wright, age 25, 135 Groves Avenue, Marietta, for being a fugitive from justice, a felony. Wright was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Linscott of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Sep 12 at 10:59 am.

David Aaron Hanson, age 34, 832 Ridge Street, Marietta, for contempt for failing to pay fines, a misdemeanor. Hanson was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Sury of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Sep 12 at 8:28 pm.

Michael Brian Page, age 45, 817 Masonic Park Road Lot 1, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Page was arrested at his residence by Lt. Rhodes of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Sep 12 at 8:32 pm.
