On 17 Aug 12 a witness reported observing a firearm in the creek along State Route 26 near Wilson Run Road in Ludlow Township. Lt. Stackpole recovered the weapon, a small caliber muzzle loader, and placed it in evidence for safekeeping. This case remains under investigation.

On 17 Aug 12 Garry McIntire, age 62, 903 Lakeview Drive, Beverly, reported he parked his camper behind Turner’s One Stop on 27 Jul and at some point after that time an unknown suspect(s) stole the wheel chocks, sewer cap, twenty-five feet of drain hose, four clamps and a hose connector. This case remains under investigation (594).

On 17 Aug 12 Lucas Robinson, 10288 Veto Road, Belpre, reported sometime between 6 pm and 8 pm an unknown suspect(s) entered his home and stole two rifles, two handguns and miscellaneous watches, rings and jewelry from his home. This case remains under investigation (1293).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Wayne Hazen Hunter, age 44, 211 Wooster Street, Marietta, for domestic violence, a felony. Hunter was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Wright of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 17 Aug 12 at 12:18 am.

Donald D. Marshall, age 39, Marietta, for violating the terms of a protection order, a felony. Marshall was picked up at the Noble Correctional Institution by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington County Jail on 17 Aug 12 at 10:27 am.

Michael James Siders, age 32, Marietta, for two felony counts of trafficking in drugs. Siders was picked up at the Noble Correctional Institution by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington County Jail on 17 Aug 12 at 10:39 am.
