On 13 Aug 12 Gregory Wilhelm, age 50, 711 Lawton Road, Marietta, reported he allowed his girlfriend to borrow his vehicle on 11 Aug under the condition that she return it later that evening. Mr. Wilhelm’s girlfriend did not immediately return but that day but arrived after reporting the vehicle missing. Mr. Wilhelm declined to pursue charges against his girlfriend (594). Deputies returned to the residence later in the evening after a neighbor reported a loud argument transpiring in the residence. Mr. Wilhelm and his now soon to be ex-girlfriend, Tammy K. Wilson, age 37, 2375 Elizabeth Pike, Mineral Wells, WV, could not agree how to divide some of their property. Due to the fact that that was the third occasion the Sheriff’s Office responded to the address, Deputy Sheriff Hunter requested summonses for Mr. Wilhelm and Ms. Wilson for disorderly conduct.

On 13 Aug 12 Rhonda Tabler, age 55, 209 Roberts Drive, Belpre, reported she evicted tenants from a property she owns at 2148 State Route 339, Belpre, and she believes when they moved in July they removed copper piping and eave spouts from the home and stole an air conditioner, a refrigerator and a hot water tank. This case remains under investigation (1293).

On 13 Aug 12 Charles F. Parsons, age 81, 138 Emory Lane, Little Hocking, reported sometime between 1 Jul and 11 Aug an unknown suspect(s) stole a small home safe from his basement. The safe was found elsewhere on Mr. Parson’s property with a hole cut in the bottom but its contents were missing. The safe contained three handguns, a bottle of oxycodone pills and over $500 in cash. This case remains under investigation (1293).

On 13 Aug 12 Maria D. Smith, age 51, 585 Pugh Road, Stockport, reported her son had a party at their home while she and her husband were out of town for a week and she believes during that time she believes someone punched and left two dents in her Honda CRV. This case remains under investigation (610).

On 13 Aug 12 Irma Chutes, age 54, 102 Simpson Street, Marietta, reported her husband spit in her face during an argument over their marital problems. Mrs. Chutes was not in fear for her safety during the incident and said she only wanted to know what her options were. As a result, Deputy Sheriff Caltrider closed this case as unfounded.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Dennis Eugene Herndon III, age 26, 970 Dixon Ridge Road, Lowell, for domestic contempt, a misdemeanor. Herndon turned himself in to Corrections Officers and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 13 Aug 12 at 10:47 am.

Joseph Oliver Anderson, age 20, 2950 Righteous Ridge Road, Waterford, for assault, a misdemeanor. Anderson was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff McPeek and processed into the Washington County Jail on 13 Aug 12 at 10:02 pm.
